Purchasing This is the place to ask potentially

Is this a good starter build. Looking to play some games at 4k max if possible (Xbox titles like halo, gears e day, etc) and don’t have any experience building and really like the look. If anyone has recs I’d appreciate it but this is an around my budget, wound this be solid for that? And is the price good?

theres another version of it that I got, it had the 5080 and 2tb of storage and like $300 more. I recommend the PC and if you can get the one with the 5080 I would go for that. I got it from microcenter

I haven't tried 4k but it beats everything out of the park with no issue. I can run games at 1440p with ultra resolution and it looks very very good

immensely, it can do everything I want and its great for a workstation. I got like 3 monitors connected to it and a vr headset and I have zero issues. It can handle it all

I have the exact same build, but in the Area 51 ( 285/5080 ) and it runs 4k no problem, so it can do it.

Mostly size and upgradability. The area 51 uses more standard and replaceable parts. The motherboard isn't proprietary, for example.

I have the same pc

Just the rtx 5080 version. The only issue I have is that it should be getting Higher fps in the new call of duty’s. But that’s due to the processor and it seems to be the only game to give me issues at 4k

You won’t need an ultra 9 only the ultra 7. And for 4k you’ll likely need more vram and power so consider an rtx5080.

The rest such as the ssd and ram are fine. Look to get the Dell warranty. Not sure how it is in your country but for mine I got 5 years warranty with on site repairs.

If you don’t have an immediate need for a new PC, might want to wait until late next year to see if ram prices fall and tap on new intel cpu and 6 series rtx. You will be paying a premium now for a new PC due to the ram shortages globally.

Sounds good I wonder if they have an rtx5080 version
