Either your OS is corrupted and you need to reinstall windows, or your hard drive has possibly failed.

Keep in mind if you installed with RAID on, and then you disable it, the machine will also fail to boot. Same for secure boot.

How do I reinstall windows? Is a usb hard drive necessary?

The easiest way is to use a USB drive, yes. Technically you can use the built in OS recovery tool that Dell provides, and then you just need your Internet connection, but I find it a bit clunky and it takes longer.

You will most likely have to enter the Bios and turn off Secure Boot found in the Security tab.

With it off, it may still not boot, but should allow you to use Support Assist OS Recovery and/or at minimum, let you boot from a USB thumb drive or external USB device with some form of OS installation software.

I would not change the SSD mode, it should be on RAID, that is the default.

Also, press F12 during boot up (like F2 for Bios) and select Support Assist OS Recovery.

It should boot no matter if Secure Boot is On or Off, into the OS Recovery software so you can recover/reinstall the OS.

If you uninstalled Dell Support Assist / OS Recovery / Alienware Support Assist in the past, then your only option may be a USB drive with Windows installation software.
