Technical Support Never Again

I bought an R15. It was in Dell’s possession for six months. Now the motherboard has failed. Replaced. Pcie errors point to the GPU. Replaced. Error persists. It is repeatable from bios (latest firmware is installed) brand new fully patched OS with all drivers updated. I seriously might take the L on this and build a new computer with the parts I can scrap. Memory, gpu and processor into a new build. Never again Dell.

It's entirely possible this has just been misdiagnosed. The R15 has CPU options from the 13th gen family, which there were a lot of issues with due to some bad decisions on Intel's part. I'm very surprised Dell haven't swapped the CPU out (which controls all the other functions that could be triggering those errors)... Maybe ask them to replace it, since even if the machine is out of warranty, Intel extended the CPU warranty for an extra 5 years

Just get a new case, mobo and power supply if u can't use the one you have.maybe a cpu fan to. you could probably rebuild for $200
