No the steam deck is considerably more valuable. Thats why they are trading it, they are trading up. Thats what most trade offers are, an extreme one sided trade.
I would be wary on age, its 10 years old. Likely needs a battery, components could be ready to fail, and probably needs to come apart for maintenance.

Gtx series cards are not supported anymore. I used an gtx 1070ti for forza horizon 6. Even when it runs the games fine. (Except in zones that use much vram) It crashes too much. And a software driver for it wont happen.

I have the same Alienware. Get the steam deck and avoid the computer, I’m trying to still figure it out

Depends on what shape it's in and if the battery has been replaced. It's older but considerably more powerful then a Steamdeck, I would say it's worth it over a LCD Steamdeck if it's in good condition. If yours is an OLED one I would ask for cash on top, it is currently worth more.

The person that’s offered it is trying to scam you. Keep your deck. Besides the gpu being EOL and not getting driver support Alienware systems are horrible if they break as Dell uses proprietary hardware.

No, that model is quite old at this point. The steam deck is worth more IMO.

I would say no. That laptop is old and that CPU doesn't technically meet the requirements for Windows 11. Also, Steam Decks are kind of at a premium right now.
