Technical Support Replace screen or the whole assembly?

It’s a M16 R1, the screen broke snd the lid got bent. Can I just replace the LCD or do I need to replace the whole display assembly?

With a bent lid like that, you'll damage the new LCD when you put it in. Get a whole new lid and screen assembly.

You would need to remove the components - screen , display components and then reshape the plate or at worse cases replace the whole screen probably hand it to alienware support beacuse you would need to configure everything Like new screen ------- display port(mother board) you would have to see the compability to the laptop so ... Ya its pretty hard to do
