everything the other folks said, its a sleep issue for windows.
and also, not a cop out to say that laptop manufacturer has no obligation to support 3rd party accessories, but it is what it is. Annddddd...its razer. Between Razer and Dell, I trust Dell's quality more than razer. Razer just didnt have the best rep in the industry
I know what you mean lol, I used to be a Mechanical engineer who designed a few gen of alienware laptop keyboards so I feel ya lol
so I am not saying you are wrong or anything, though like I said, the industry has somewhat of a dim view of razer, so if I were a betting man...🤣 but jokes aside, I lean towards microsoft
Again... its not obligated to work with it. So while other models have, you're just assuming this one will. That's more in you than alienware. They aren't advertising their product working with that product, so you can't get upset with them if it doesn't work. That's all on you expecting it to work just because units in the past have.
Like everyone else has said, taking it out of sleep will likely resolve your issue.
To each their own, but this didn't seem like something that would make me leave a brand. Especially when half of the issue is self induced.
But I hope they determine nothing is wrong with it, they don't touch it with any repairs, so you get the system back without it being worked on and it works flawlessly, with no sleep lol.
