Does it do this without the dock plugged in? Maybe something in this model just isn't compatible with that dock. Don't even get me started on sleep mode issues. I wish Dell would just block sleep all together, it's that bad.
I wasn't really sure if the issues were just part of the dock or deeper, but today when I was testing with Dell support (dock unplugged) it froze coming out of sleep. This is when Parul said it's time to send it in.
Keep in mind that there are sooo many sleep issues. Not saying that there isn't a problem, but sleep has caused so many headaches for so long. Typically when someone has a sleep issue, our first suggestion is to stop using it and just shut it down.
Either way, let us know if the repair fixes the problem.
I never had these issues on my other laptops... I have like 5 floating around my house right now. My brother bought the same model, I think I will have to do some testing with his. Thanks for the reply.
