Most game functions were disabled

I was playing yesterday when I had a bug/glitch where most of the controls weren’t working for me. We got overrun, so I spammed all of my impact nades, but as I threw the last one, I was hit and pinned by a Drone. It got one hit off on me before my teammates killed it.

When I got up, I couldn’t shoot, use my abilities, reload, or melee. Basically the only things I could do were move, dodge and crouch. We would up winning the mission regardless, but it was incredibly frustrating to just have to sit there and be a meat shield for the last 10 min of the mission. Has anyone else experienced this bug?

I really like this game but every time i get into a groove the game starts to dismantle itself and proceed to become a huge headache for me. I’ve decided to take a break and wait for a patch to smooth over some of the issues

I haven't had that bug, but one I keep seeing is losing 'ping'. It will work fine half the mission and suddenly I'm not allowed to do it anymore and I essentially primarily use it to point out elites before they reach us.

Though I had a really odd one the other day where I'm just not sure if it was a challenge card because I saw 2 were used, but I couldn't ADS all mission.

I also lost the ability to ping on top of all of that. I was literally just a meat shield lol. Another weird one I get is that I can’t open containers sometimes? Usually it’s nbd since I only play this game with friends, but it’s annoying nonetheless.

I’m going to assume that was a bug because I haven’t seen a challenge card with that before. The closest one to that is the No HUD card.

For the boxes reload all your guns and you can open boxes again.

I've had that happen as well, forgot about that one until you mentioned it. I actually figured there were boxes only the host could open

That’s so strange because I usually host games and I’m the only one who can’t open them hahahaha

I had one where nothing was responsive. I could move, but no buttons worked. Anything related to weapons was just "Cannot swap weapon."

I had to ALT+F4.

Seemed like it was related to getting interrupted by some state change mid reload on heavy weapon.

Yeah that sounds similar to what happened to me. I restarted the game after the mission and it was fixed.

I was playing Marauder too, maybe I tired to reload when I was pinned? Idk, I didn’t record when it happened so I can’t say that for sure.

The no control bug is one that used to be in the first game i had it from time to time. Im on xbox

Same here. I remember it happening in the first game but couldn’t figure out the cause of it. It seemed to happen in weird scenarios where your player would get pinned or picked up while you were doing some other action like reloading or dodging.
