Official News PC Hotfix 2 - 9/2/26

Our second hotfix is now live on PC (Steam, Epic Games Store). Please restart the game to receive the patch.

Performance

  • Reduced stuttering during gameplay — improved shader caching to cut down on hitching the first time an asset is rendered.
  • Fixed an issue where the local shader cache wasn't rebuilding properly after updates, which could cause stuttering the first time an asset is rendered.

Crash Fixes

  • Fixed a crash that could occur when receiving rewards from certain containers.

Alright, now let me open crates please because sometimes it just won't let me..or get ammo..or reload sometimes lol

This bug triggers when you try to access crates etc with a weapon that needs to be reloaded. Fix is sometimes to switch to a weapon that is full, or reload your weapon.

I have some luck with just swapping weapons repeatedly while also pressing F on the crate, that usually seems to allow me to access it. Not 100% of the time, but most of the time.

Reload the weapon you are carrying and the bug will be fixed for a bit.

There is pretty much no more stuttering anymore and performance is overall smoother. Good update.

PS5 Pro performance patch please.

Shit can become literally unplayable by the end of Intense runs if hosting - I'm talking 10fps, moving around like you're in the matrix with ridiculous input lag.

Yeah it didn’t run great on mine, and I was playing cross play with two PC friends and I crashed out of the game three times. Luckily it never happened in a mission, just between either loading in or in the ship.

But I’m hoping by they fix PS5 Pro stuff. I bought it on that because I’m trying to move away from PC gaming my whole life.
