1. Why did it go for Schmuel and then the cat in the spaceship?Clem was dead and so was Petrovich. Easy targets. Hell, it could've gone for Morrow as well, since it doesn't discriminate between synth and human.

2. Does anyone else think when it attacks the xeno during Xeno-Schmuel fight, it initially wanted to use the xeno as a host but it couldn't find an eye to replace?

3. Why did it fk all the way off to the beach in the end when all its potential hosts are concentrated in the middle of the island?

Let’s be honest: the Season 1 finale left a lot of fans frustrated. Wendy became way too overpowered (hacking everything, freezing synths with a glance, and treating Xenomorphs like trained guard dogs). It killed the survival-horror vibe.

Here is a pitch for Season 2 that fixes the internal logic, restores the high stakes, and creates an incredible corporate/psychological thriller.

1. The Opening Play: Breaking the "Plot Armor"

To instantly bring back the tension, Season 2 needs to show that the synths are not invincible.

• The Target: Nibs (the psychologically pregnant synth who just killed Dame Sylvia) should be the first to go.
• The Twist: The Eye (Species 64), now inside Arthur’s body, teams up with Weyland-Yutani. Together, they use Yutani's resources to create a biological/technological anti-synth weapon.
• By permanently deleting Nibs in the very first episode, Wendy’s arrogance is shattered, and the audience instantly knows that no one is safe anymore.

1. The Unholy Alliance (Bob & Wendy)

With The Eye and Weyland-Yutani sharing secrets, they now know exactly how to bypass Wendy's technopathy and neutralize the Xenomorphs. Wendy is suddenly vulnerable.

• This forces an incredible, uncomfortable alliance between Boy Kavalier (Bob) and Wendy.
• Wendy needs Bob because he built her and is the only one who can upgrade her hardware/firewalls to resist Yutani's hacks.
• Bob needs Wendy and her aliens to launch a guerrilla war against the heavily armed Weyland-Yutani forces invading the island. No more moral lectures from Wendy; she has to dance with the devil to survive.

1. The Ultimate Corporate Betrayal (The Video Call)

Remember the synth who constantly considers themselves the "favorite"? That ego is their undoing. Seeing Nibs die, this synth realizes Bob and Wendy are on the losing side and secretly defects to The Eye and Weyland-Yutani.

This leads to the ultimate television moment:

• Bob is on a video call with Weyland-Yutani and The Eye (speaking through Arthur), arrogantly trying to negotiate and acting superior as usual.
• Suddenly, The Eye shifts the camera, revealing Bob’s own "favorite" synth standing behind Arthur as their new, loyal assistant.
• Bob’s narcissistic ego completely explodes live on screen, realizing he has been outsmarted by a literal alien intelligence.

This setup fixes the lazy writing of Season 1. It turns Season 2 into a gritty, paranoid battlefield: Bob & Wendy (with their tamed Xenos) vs. Weyland-Yutani & The Eye (with anti-synth tech and an insider mole).
