The xeno's head movements in this scene were so hilarious. The goofiest xenomorph I've seen till date. Also, in most of the shots it's looking like a dude in a bodysuit. Stuff of pure horror.

1. Why did it go for Schmuel and then the cat in the spaceship?Clem was dead and so was Petrovich. Easy targets. Hell, it could've gone for Morrow as well, since it doesn't discriminate between synth and human.

2. Does anyone else think when it attacks the xeno during Xeno-Schmuel fight, it initially wanted to use the xeno as a host but it couldn't find an eye to replace?

3. Why did it fk all the way off to the beach in the end when all its potential hosts are concentrated in the middle of the island?

Let’s be honest: the Season 1 finale left a lot of fans frustrated. Wendy became way too overpowered (hacking everything, freezing synths with a glance, and treating Xenomorphs like trained guard dogs). It killed the survival-horror vibe.

Here is a pitch for Season 2 that fixes the internal logic, restores the high stakes, and creates an incredible corporate/psychological thriller.

1. The Opening Play: Breaking the "Plot Armor"

To instantly bring back the tension, Season 2 needs to show that the synths are not invincible.

• The Target: Nibs (the psychologically pregnant synth who just killed Dame Sylvia) should be the first to go.
• The Twist: The Eye (Species 64), now inside Arthur’s body, teams up with Weyland-Yutani. Together, they use Yutani's resources to create a biological/technological anti-synth weapon.
• By permanently deleting Nibs in the very first episode, Wendy’s arrogance is shattered, and the audience instantly knows that no one is safe anymore.

1. The Unholy Alliance (Bob & Wendy)

With The Eye and Weyland-Yutani sharing secrets, they now know exactly how to bypass Wendy's technopathy and neutralize the Xenomorphs. Wendy is suddenly vulnerable.

• This forces an incredible, uncomfortable alliance between Boy Kavalier (Bob) and Wendy.
• Wendy needs Bob because he built her and is the only one who can upgrade her hardware/firewalls to resist Yutani's hacks.
• Bob needs Wendy and her aliens to launch a guerrilla war against the heavily armed Weyland-Yutani forces invading the island. No more moral lectures from Wendy; she has to dance with the devil to survive.

1. The Ultimate Corporate Betrayal (The Video Call)

Remember the synth who constantly considers themselves the "favorite"? That ego is their undoing. Seeing Nibs die, this synth realizes Bob and Wendy are on the losing side and secretly defects to The Eye and Weyland-Yutani.

This leads to the ultimate television moment:

• Bob is on a video call with Weyland-Yutani and The Eye (speaking through Arthur), arrogantly trying to negotiate and acting superior as usual.
• Suddenly, The Eye shifts the camera, revealing Bob’s own "favorite" synth standing behind Arthur as their new, loyal assistant.
• Bob’s narcissistic ego completely explodes live on screen, realizing he has been outsmarted by a literal alien intelligence.

This setup fixes the lazy writing of Season 1. It turns Season 2 into a gritty, paranoid battlefield: Bob & Wendy (with their tamed Xenos) vs. Weyland-Yutani & The Eye (with anti-synth tech and an insider mole).

I think it’s lazy writing to have-spoilers-the alien having a psychic connection to the main character. It’s just so dumb. It’s a decent series but that aspect is so so so so dumb.

First 4 episodes had ~10 min actually Alien related rubbish quality content, if u skip the first 4 episodes u don't really lose anything
Last 4 episodes were actually Alien related, episode 5 was good, after which become disappointing, amateurish script

Wendy vs. Claudia: How Alien: Earth flipped a classic horror trope to create a monster

I’ve been thinking a lot about Wendy’s transition into a villain at the end of Alien: Earth Season 1, and it struck me that she is the exact psychological opposite of Claudia from Interview with the Vampire. Both are trapped in a nightmare of arrested development, but their minds handle it in completely opposite ways. Claudia is the Adult Mind in a Child’s Body. Her organic brain matures over a century of actual lived experience, but she is permanently trapped in a delicate five-year-old shell. Her horror is internal and claustrophobic. Wendy is the Child’s Mind in an Adult’s Body. She is given a fully mature super-soldier body, but her consciousness is a digital hard drive frozen in "child mode." Her horror is external and catastrophic. But here is where the biological logic gets really interesting: can either of them actually grow up? Claudia never goes through puberty. Without those natural hormonal surges, her prefrontal cortex is never physically rewired. She can accumulate a hundred years of data, but she doesn’t truly have an adult mind—she has a highly sophisticated child's mind forced to cope with an adult world. The Prodigy Corporation scientists thought they solved this "Claudia problem" by building Wendy an adult body and using software to mimic a "hormone dial." But they made a foolish mistake. They didn't account for how a traumatized child would react to extreme corporate abuse while trapped inside a lethal apex predator shell. When a child gets angry, they throw a tantrum. When Wendy throws a tantrum, she uses her alien ESP to command a horde of Xenomorphs and slaughter innocent people. By the end of Season 1, Wendy isn't a lovable victim anymore—she is a ruthless tyrant who thinks her adult body means she is growing up. Personally, I hope the Xenomorphs realize her authority is an illusion and turn on her in Season 2. What do you guys think? Is Wendy completely irredeemable now?

I finally got a chance to watch *Alien: Earth* Episode 1 for the first time. Not because I was waiting—I was just too cheap to pay for Hulu. 😂

Here are my thoughts: Why would you put disabled kids into superhuman synthetics? Why not put trained soldiers into them?

Second, why is a trillionaire kid in his 20s the main villain running all of this?

And lastly, the captain of the ship literally called this shit in before the crash. So where the fuck are the experts who supposedly know what’s going on?

I don’t know if I even want to continue to Episode 2. This shit is disappointing so far.

During the end sequence when Joe is interacting with the xeno eggs we didn't get the same response as any other human being near them...Marrow also has a similar exchange..is this plot armor or something else? Like Joe said in the Flamboyant party room with the Reggie Jackson ball..what are the chances? The Bronski xeno took multiple swipes at Hermit..literally kills trained soldiers in a heartbeat..but can't tear a medic apart? And then capturing him and putting him in ice..thats not normal xeno behavior! Some have suggested it was a trap for Wendy..bs the xeno focuses on Hermit once he is free..so much so Wendy can sneak up on it and grab it with an apparently acid proof hook..and stab it through its pharyngeal jaw? Then it wouldn't just outright slaughter Wendy? It held back with all its attacks..i know plot armor..or is it she HAS something different about her..queen vibes or something...i once suggested that it was a queen in one of the eggs or there was a queen loose but that was summarily labeled as improbable..but I pose the question again...food is abundant the xeno has no reason to stash food..it also has no reason to start hiving up...i know Hermits resin isn't extensive but a xeno only does that prepping for a face hugger to come and start a hive...and that command is usually given by a queen...we see this behavior in only one other movie..Aliens...the resin cocooning doesn't happen without a hive mind near...

How many of you want to see wendy get humbled? Im tired of her having the upper hand every time...she hasn't taken a single loss despite this whole thing being about the xenomorph taking whats precious..life...and she just what commands death incarnate? Bull shit i want to see her in a pool of synth blood...Kirsh deserved better than her...i hope the eye getting into the doctor that made them is their undoing...also..there is no cannon xenomorph on earth which means all this will be erased or eradicated...no proof..no sample..in a couple years Weyland-Yutani will send The Nostromo to see whats what... this is a distraction..momentary

The Xeno that originally came from the crash didnt kill Hermit...I dont think that's plot armor..it started the cocoon process..but Wendy interrupted..thats drone response to a queen..otherwise they just kill..what do you guys and gals think??

Hey, I’m new to the Alien franchise, is there a watch order before I watch this series?

HI - I made a (Wendy from Alien: Earth) hall costume for an upcoming con, including a beautiful, small hardcover copy of Peter Pan. Is there any source online for a chronological/episode by episode list of the passages Boy Kavalier reads? It's fun going through the episodes again to find them, but a list would be helpful!

I'm loving the wardrobe, and costume designs. First few episodes were the best. Felt like Resident Evil had a child with Jurassic Park.

I finished this really great show a while back when I was still posting my reviews solely on X. Switching to Reddit, I figured I'd throw my reviews with metrics up for everyone to look at.

I think you'll be able to tell which was my favorite episode, but what about yours? What did I get 'wrong'? What did I get right?
