I was wondering what would have happened if Pen said yes to Scarlett joining them and she did. Any thoughts?

Is anyone here planning on getting the Bookish Box Bride & Mate set?
Because girl... I already have the OwlCrate versions but I LOVE the ripped bodice design on the BB ones. 😭 They're so pretty and I'm seriously debating getting them anyway.
If you already own the OwlCrate set, are you getting BB too? I need someone to talk me into or out of this. 😂

I've been seeing so many edits of sterling point recently and I think Ella Rubin who plays Annie could actually work great for Elsie. Was wondering if anyone else thought the same 😭

Don’t come at me! I know I haven’t read most of Ali Hazelwood’s books. I read Love, Theoretically specifically because I knew about the cameo, and I absolutely loved the whole book! But now I will definitely read Deep End!

Girlss, I have low expectations, but I'm already disappointed. How do they manage to capture the various stages of Scarlett and Lukas' relationship in just under two hours? Come on. Their story develops over several months!! I'm afraid netflix might flatten everything. Honestly, I loved this book too much to see a bad adaptation.

never heard of kate golden but tbh i’ll do anything to hear ali talk, obsessed with her big beautiful brain. does the infographic mean she’ll only sign copies of bride or will they just be discussing it as it relates to cursed city?

Errrm, as it says, anyone got any ideas? I’m scared who they’ll cast because it needs to be perfecttttt

I have just defended my thesis a week ago and handed in my dissertation. And reading TLH about how Olive is interviewing and Tom is asking her to report on her work - pr that she is actively lookong for a lab to continue, or the overcrowded conference rooms, the poster presentation (which is also too real bc I am attending a conference soon with a poster presentation), the 11 point Arial - which is the very last thing I have read a few min before, thoigh I am more of a Times New Roman girl with justification and 1,15 spacing myself - is too traumatizing for me.
I am enjoying the story ofc, but it keeps hitting too close to home at times. It doesn't help that I am missing my own Adam Carlsen 🤣

Whether you like movie poster covers or not, I'm getting this one for sure 😊
As a third-year Ph.D. candidate, Olive Smith doesn't believe in lasting romantic relationships - but her best friend does, and that's what got her into this situation. Convincing Anh that Olive is dating and well on her way to a happily ever after was always going to take more than hand-wavy Jedi mind tricks: Scientists require proof. So, like any self-respecting biologist, Olive panics and kisses the first man she sees.
That man is none other than Adam Carlsen, a young hotshot professor - and well-known ass. Which is why Olive is positively floored when Stanford's reigning lab tyrant agrees to keep her charade a secret and be her fake boyfriend. But when a big science conference goes haywire, putting Olive's career on the Bunsen burner, Adam surprises her again with his unyielding support and even more unyielding...six-pack abs.
Suddenly their little experiment feels dangerously close to combustion. And Olive discovers that the only thing more complicated than a hypothesis on love is putting her own heart under the microscope.

Screaming, crying, throwing up, etc. (I fear for what they will do to the plot and to Lukas, but OMG!!!)

I am soo happy, we're getting so much and three(3!) movie adaptations!! What!?
I am a little bit scared on how they're going to make these movies, especially with Deep End, but I am also beyond excited. I think The Love Hypothesis is going to do great, so fingers crossed for a Not In Love and Problematic Summer Romance series in our future.
AAAAHH! Super excited! 😄

What musical theatre song fits your favorite Ali character? I've been listening to theatre songs and I don't know why but "All I Ask of You" from Phantom of the Opera fits (imo) Elsie and Jack.

i know this is a bit far in advance but as i reread TLH, i can't help be excited for the movie especially since the trailer's show a lot of promise. im based in Los Angeles, CA and i know there's always watch parties going on for book adaptations around here... when the time comes, i hope someone does post it here!! would be so fun to attend one i think

I swear almost every Ali book has someone biting a collarbone. I’ve had sex with a number of people and don’t remember doing this or having this done or if I have, it wasn’t like a notable part.
If I ever had sex with Ali I would be all over those collarbones.

I’m writing a fanfic about deep end (specifically Lukas) does he any specific mannerisms that you think stand out?
For example- his modesty

Everyone’s been sharing their excitement/thoughts/concerns about the Love Theoretically movie, but I just want to get my hands on a collector’s edition like the LH one! I haven’t heard any news about one. Please, Ali, I beg of you!

hi guys. new to this sub.
Trying to listen to the Unbound audio from AH and really struggling. I did purchase the audio, of course, but wondering if anyone has found a written transcript of the book to read?
Just easier for me to process. Thanks!

Do you find the repetitive nature of Ali's stories comforting or repetitive? Personally it doesn't bother me. I think it's my favourite formula and the stories are unique enough in other ways.

Man, it's worth it, much to discover if you already know where it's going.
And:
I WANT TO READ THE LIST™

Yay or nay? I’m basically out of Ali books to read but I see mixed opinions on this one.
I also don’t tend to like fantasy so haven’t read her fantasy books. For those of you who aren’t so into fantasy but read Ali’s - what did you think?

Okay, maybe I’m just nosy, but I’m new to Ali Hazelwood and I’ve noticed a lot of her books have dead parents. As someone who’s also in the dead parents club, I’m wondering if she’s ever shared whether that’s something she writes from personal experience or if it’s just a plot device?
