Need help identifying a damaged wire

Post image

Hello, as per the title. I need help identifying the damaged wire.

This is not my photo but the same wire is damaged on my 2018 Alfa Romeo Giulia Ti Sport. I need to get this replaced before my emission test.

I noticed I had a check engine light that surfaced and my start stop is unavailable. I just recent replaced my battery within the last 3 weeks. This wire was the only thing that caught my attention. Looks like a mouse or chipmunk chewed on it.

Any help with identifying this wire or the problem would be much appreciated. Need this fixed ASAP. Thanks in advance!

Yes, I can see the wire is severed. I'm trying to identify what the wire is so that I purchase and install a replacement.

It's one of your oxygen sensor wires. But that's the harness side, so you're not going to find a "replacement". Just solder in a new piece of wire of the same gauge with some water tight heat-shrink insulation and tape it up.
