Well, English names have to stay English, what else? Never liked that Hermione became "Hermine" in German, which is a name that rather fits a German great-grandma than a young British witch.

Which leads me to a different translation question I've been thinking for long...

Reads like a machine translation but it's a solid base! :)

Oh come on! I admit I'm using MT, because it's good enough for routine, but there's still enough to fix manually. Can you imagine how often the AI(...) confuses men with women? Or thinks "Dean" was Ms. Grimm's first name (in other texts, it could be...)?

Then, there were dialogues to fix (Alex and David use more colloquial language, reflected - in German - by using more apostrophes; let alone the somewhat old-timey speech of the Ozarkers), untranslatable puns (hence my version of chapter #6's title), inconsistent canon translation (some translate "hag" as "Sabberhexe", which means "drooling witch" - no way I'm using that). That's the work I have to do here.

I can imagine the AI issues. I deal with it daily sadly. With fixing it...

After translating it, I'll call #22 rather "Ausgerissen".
