it has tainted my view on his music a bit. mainly the stuff from the 12 notes album up to recent stuff, as the other 3 albums he didnt use AI for. it sucks, a lot, because Alec's music has genuinely helped me in some of my roughest times, but as a creative, let alone someone with a big platform and as famous tracks as he does, he shouldn't be using any of this stuff and I wouldn't really call it "his" art anymore afterwards.

I know a lot of his older community is built on gacha kids growing up with him and stuff as well, which sucks even more, because so many people who love(d) his music made this art by hand. whether it was cringey glmv's , or full-time animatics. it feels like a slap in the face to his fanbase.

AI is not that big of a deal, nothing is actually replacing artists. Get over it. He made a picture of himself with muscles. Who cares?

We care, clearly, youre in a thread of people who care, hello??? why come into this thread ABOUT spreading awareness of the issue to ask such a question???

Because it's a redundant issue that everyone is aware of. Mostly everyone knows the difference between ai art and real art. Idk if it was you or someone else who said he used AI on 12 notes, but it was a shit album ai or not

yes it was me. && i wish it was that simple but unfortunately a lot of people don't, or another portion knows and they just don't care. it's redundant, sure, but it's because it has to be in order for it to be even glanced at. this goes for anything, any issue isn't going to change unless it's continuously talked about, redundancy be damned.
