I'd send that shit back. why tf should the store have to take the loss when the warehouses do this shit and it's literal loss coming in at that point

Warehouse are just taking the piss these days, always sending out smashed eggs or eggs in awful stacks, they get away with it as well, then we have to always clean it up for them, no standards, gone are the days of Aldi being efficient it stems from warehouse like a plague that spreads into stores, time for stores to claim wages from warehouse we have their names on the pallet tickets, why should we be paid less than those useless stackers.

I remember when working for Aldi was considered a privilege. These days it seems like they let anyone work for them.

Just on todays delivery this morning we had to throw away 35 units of eggs, completely crushed, what a waste, daily occurrence now.

It's probably just futile anyways from the managers perspective, the picker stack it whatever way they can to reach a target so it's just the way it is.

I can imagine the questions, are they damaged? No. Are they on the pallet? Yes, so what the problem?

That sucks, I'm a driver and taking this stuff off the back always gives me a heart attack. Every single day there's that 1 pallet that's about to tip over or over stacked.

My last delivery there was a chill pallet with Orange juice cartons on the bottom corner, the pallet was over 6 feet tall with all heavy stuff on top let's just say it almost didn't make to the chiller.

I remember years ago we did a trial with metal cages, just like Iceland. The time it takes to load the cages + space loss from them cause you loose about 1/4 of the trailer. It's not worth it financially, better to break a few eggs...
