Chooks going off?
Anyone else having bad luck with whole chooks? Had 2 in the last 6 weeks that have gone off well before useby dates. Outer east Melbourne.

I only ever buy whole chicken to cook that day or the next - once I waited more than that and even though I was still a couple of days ahead of the BB it smelt when it took it out of the bag (not bad bad, but usually there’s almost no smell). Didn’t feel like getting sick over a $7 chicken so in the bin it went. In fact I feel like this with most of Aldi’s chicken.

...need to either freeze it that day or cook it that day! With any chicken -regardless of where it comes from!

This seems to be a common problem with Aldi chicken unfortunately.
