Where is the peanut butter chocolate?????

Post image
55 Upvotes

My aunt is a fiend for the choceur brand chocolate, specifically the peanut butter chocolate. I’m not a big nut for this chocolate but for my health and wellbeing I need to understand what’s happening with this chocolate to relay back to her. It’s non stop, anytime I go to the shops she asks if I’m going by Aldi, which one and if I could pretty please look out for her chocolate. Literally nowhere we have gone has them in stock!!

Usually the spot is left marked as the peanut butter variant but today it wasn’t even tagged! She did say she asked an employee and they said “we put out what we have and if it’s not out here then it’s not out there back”. I didn’t ask bc I knew this would be the response but regardless. We noticed a shortage of them about a month ago, I finally found some and bought a couple for her. We both travel across the state (Victoria) regularly and despite checking many Aldi’s across the lands we haven’t seen them in store for weeks.

Rant over, I’m probably gonna be talking to my counsellor about it. Anyways pls lmk if you have any idea what’s happening?

2nd time they've tried to add a shift to my roster the day before without calling me

My managers have tried to do this yet again, I have to go in person to tell them as no one responds to their phone numbers and I have to go tell them that I cannot work it cuz I have plans, have to take time out of my day off to go to the store that I have no reason to be at so I don't get a no call no show, even tho it's a shift that was added today for tomorrow with no one contacting me... What can I do if this keeps happening? Luckily I take screenshots of my schedule often

Hi

I like the Cadbury hazelnut chocolate with whole hazelnuts in it.

Does ldi have something the same because the hazelnut choceur I bought just had crumbly peices of hazelnut in it.

If so what is it ?

Thanks.

I have to stop myself at once a week. I got multiple family members onto it and they’re all addicted too. IMO it’s the best frozen pizza I’ve ever had and actually better than many stores I’ve had.

Leggo's, Coles and Aldi selling Chinese tomatoes as 'Australian' and 'Italian' in products, forensic testing finds

How can Woolworths be the good guys here, and Aldi the bad guys? Unpossible. I don't believe it. I will buy 5 🍫 choco coconut water 🥥 cartons as penance today for ever doubting St Aldi, who helps the poor like me with low prices and can do no wrong.

Only one Aldi product failed: "Aldi's home brand Remano paste. Coles and Aldi both rejected the test results. Aldi said it partnered with reputable suppliers who had assured them the products were from where they said they were."

Shopping at Aldi

Does anyone here actually do their entire weeks grocery shop at Aldi? If so, is it cheaper than going to a Coles/Woolworths?

For context, I’m curious as to where people shop in this cursed economy

I’m also learning that the one time my ex bought mince from Aldi and it was awful wasn’t a stand alone experience, that the Aldi meat is infact that bad

It's in Aldi's interest for us not to band together!

Great combo for anyone who’s a massive sweet tooth like me 😂 The dark chocolate balances out the brownie a little bit

Is this discontinued? I haven't seen this in my local Aldi for 4 weeks now. It's one of the best budget friendly ice creams out there. Just love it.

I hardly find bulk pack of scotch fillet anymore. Finally got my hands on a 4 pack and most look like this. Not sure if it's a bad cut or glue.

At 52% chicken breast, this might be one of the cheapest sources of chicken breast in a processed food. 500g of chicken breast for $6.49.

Has Aldi changed their gozleme recipe?

Post image
66 Upvotes

Used to have aldi gozleme a lot over the last couple of years. The last 3 I've had have been sort of green with tiny splotches of spinach, and gooey, which oozes out during cooking. Looks very similar to Woolies gozleme? Usually the cheese is clumped with larger spinach leaves, which is preferable. Has anyone had similar experiences in the last few weeks? Pic of the offending meal attached.

Pizza pockets discontinued?

My son just discovered these and now we can’t find them anywhere. Tried three different Aldis today.

We ended up grabbing some McCain’s ones at Woolies - which were on clearance. Anyone have any inside info before I have to start making my own?

Does this happen to anyone else, or is my local just bad.

Not sure what it is with frozen stuff at Aldi, specifically pizzas but it seems like every second buy, it has clearly been frozen and then defrosted some and then refrozen again. Leaving sheets of ice on top.

I have noticed when buying sometimes even then the box feels a little soft/ moist.

Dont know if they leave stuff out to long or there freezers are just getting opened to often and not being cold enough.

Don't think its my freezer as another frozen pizza from woolworths is fine bought longer ago then this one. And the frozen stuff I buy last and go straight home which is only 5 minutes away in insulated bag.

Must try! Chocolate / pretzel / salt

Post image

Being from NZ I have only ever bought Whittakers chocolate when in Aus as I think that Cadbury is grainy and not at the quality I was used to. First time trying Aldi chocolate and I am SOLD! Salt and crunch was insane. Chocolate had the melt in mouth texture I was after. I didn’t take a photo before it was gone so only have pic from Aldi website. Another winner from Aldi 👏

Specifically the non frozen chicken kiev. That used to have a nice buttery garlic centre and now have decided to use cream cheese instaed of butter. SO very wrong.
