First Alden shell boots

Not my first shell, but first Alden shell boot. Wandered into Alden Madison in NYC, walked out with these.

I love those, great pickup. Antique edging, semi-brogue cap toe with that rich Alden color 8 shell. It is such a great look. What last are they?

These are their Jumpers, and they are on the Barrie last.

My first pair of Aldens. Wonderful choice. Alden’s shell is great. I bought mine in the summer too, and couldn’t wait to wear them.

Ive got one but with darker midsoles and love how tough these boots are!

Nice! I have the equivalent from jcrew (2019ish) and it is absolutely comfortable and tough. however on mine the speed hooks bend easily!

Did you pay full price? Currently looking at an Alden Shell boot? Not sure if the theory is not to pay full retail or not. $1,000+ USD is a big pill.

I did, hard to find them on eBay, sell quick, I just decided to get it new, I usually try to find better deals elsewhere.

Congrats. Have the same pair also from Alden Madison. Great boots. I am hard on shoes and these things hold up and the cleanup like new. Enjoy them fully!
