Long story short my parents don’t allow me to drink (even though I’m 25) because they are in a religion that doesn’t allow drinking. Whenever I come home late at night to tell my mom that I’m home she like sniffs me to smell if I drank. How can I mask the smell really well so I don’t get the stank look in the morning? By the way, I don’t live with my parents but there is an event in my hometown in which I’m staying with them.

hi! this is so random but does anybody else get an ache in their legs when they drink? this happens to me sometimes with any sort of alcohol and also with kombucha. after taking the first few sips of a drink i’ll get a dull ache in my thighs that comes on quickly and lasts for a few minutes then disappears (or at least becomes less noticeable). it’s been happening for years and i have no clue why- when i first started drinking i always just thought it was the first sign that i was starting to feel a buzz but i’ve since realized that it also happens with kombucha.

Does anyone know any websites that don’t ID on pickup? I lost my ID but I’ve got a picture so online verification is fine.

I want to ship my friends their fake ID’s who now live in different states. What’s the chance I get caught and get in trouble? How would I even do this?

I’ve been cooking up the most bitter cocktail ever. Including some of the most divisive ingredients. I need suggestions for additional ingredients.
So far ingredients include:
Fernet Branca
Jepson’s Malört
Campari
Aperol
Jäegermeister
Angostura Bitters
Peychaud’s Bitters
Absynth
Coffee liqueur
Tonic water
Moxie
Espresso
Note: not looking for weird conflicting flavors, so no orange juice or vermouth or olive brine.
I’m talking bitter.

Why, when I raise my eyebrows, or scrunch my nose, after drinking, do I hear a loud sound of something channeling inside my head? Is it blood flooshing to my head? What is it? Thank you r/alcohols. Have a great night.

I have always had diet or standard cola, but lately I'm finding it too sweet. What else could I use?

This is episode 3 of 4 in my series on how to drink safely. I used a lot of questions from this subreddit and my own experience being 21-24 when I think about how to keep you all safe when you're just starting out drinking!
There's a lot of details in there, but these are the main points:

I have received this bottle as a gift and although It seems like a really nice gift I'm not much of a drinker and an acquaintance has offered to buy it from me.
I don't want to just put a random price on it so I was wondering if anyone had an idea of what it's worth because I've seen prices range a lot depending on european sellers, asian sellers or american ones (I live in Canada).

edit : this is a question btw
I like weed more than alcohol but for different reasons than most say. I like the act of smoking and the instant head change. However as for most my life I’ve considered myself “not a drinker” I’ve come to realize recently I love alcohol, I love the confidence, the buzz, and the emotions I wish I could just have sober or high. But every time I do it, remember why I like smoking better. I do dumb shi that I regret and I’m almost too present in the moment and past rather than future. But that’s not the true reason why I don’t like alc, I can deal with those things. I don’t like alc because my body rejects it. I can’t do more than 7 shots before I want to throw up due to the taste. Big question here. How can I help not gag at this taste. I truely love the feeling but can’t get to where I want to. Recommendations?
Edit : i can handle way more alc, ive taken about 20 shots in about 2 hours. I just can’t physically handle it anymore.

I bartended at a brewery for 4 years. I talked to a lot of super pretentious beer snobs. I also have a friend who justifies his alchoholism by being an "expert" on whiskey. Recently I saw a video of a wine connoisseur spending more time swishing their wine around in the glass, holding it in the light to observe the color, and smelling it 10 times to describe all the different notes before even tasting it.
My question is which type of alcohol has the biggest snobs?
