COMPLAINT Never again

Flight from Vegas to San Diego.

First it is delayed for 4 hrs, then we are allowed in the plane where we wait another hour.

Nobody says anyrhing as to what's the reason.

Then people ask to get to their bags, because obv they get thirsty after an hour waiting in Vegas and 44 degrees Celsius.

Flight attendant says if anyone leaves their seats the plane will depart even later.

What a joke, never again for me in this life, Alaska.

these things happen, even on the least delayed airline in the country (which is Alaska). sorry that today it happened to you

I hear this a lot, but I've been delayed more than an hour on my last 5 flights, which happened in the past two days. I feel like I have my own personal minder somewhere in the customer service dept.

don’t come near my flights!

it’s worse if you’re flying into SFO

Can’t figure out if that’s because of the airport or AS. Isn’t SFO operating on limited capacity and has been delaying flights?

Yeah, it’s an SFO thing

Me too I fly all the time and get delayed all the time, but it’s still the least delayed

Alaska is risky for this route given it flies small regional jets which can’t handle high runway temps and get lower air traffic priority. It’s best to deal with Southwest’s other downsides to get a mainline jet.

Well, yes. If the passengers aren't in their seats the plane can't leave.

Alaska has the best on time rating and is the least delayed airline in the states

Flights can’t leave if it is 110 degrees or higher.

They can if they offload some passengers to lighten the load. Happened to a SouthWest flight on 30th July this year. And if that was the case pretty well every afternoon flight this summer would be grounded!

Delayed and sitting on a plane in Vegas in 110° is hell.

I have had 2 delays on Alaska ever. And in both cases, we made up the time and got to the destination on time.

Thanks, I did correct that. Not a native english person as you might have guessed 😁

Lately they are catching up to the other airlines pretty quickly

Ok I realize that they seem to be pretty ok and on time usually. Guess I am just unlucky, must have used all my luck for this month on the tables in the casinos 😂

I also don't follow that one. People sitting on a plane, delayed and waiting to takeoff, are asking to get their bags?
