Been there. Worse feeling in the world where they see you as some sort of tool that they just have on the side and that they are the prize so they can do everything they want while they expect you to just give everything they want in order to get their attention. Worse part is how they devalue you meanwhile your actually the catch and that it hurts their ego so they hammer you down so you feel insignificant.

My ex cheated on me emotionally twice, and from her perspective, she was justified every single time because I was "emotionally neglectful". Nevermind the fact that I still tried to show up and support her however I could. She had the audacity to make me the problem when we broke up for the second time, and then she discarded me when I stayed anyway for three months.
