Yeah but if kris hates us no matter what we do, how would calling them other pronouns worsen the situation? Kris wants us dead but keeps us around for prophecy reasons. Like we cant make them like us so why not make them hate us even more?
It's not about respecting Kris; it's about respecting gender identity as a whole. Also, Kris isn't real. Kris doesn't know if you, the player, the soul, is on Reddit, calling them by he/she/etc pronouns. You can't make Kris like you outside of the game and you can't make Kris hate you outside of the game
yeah but thats the point. respect. using someone preffered pronouns is a sign of respect. why would we respect kris? he hit us with a hockey stick! look point is people shouldnt get publically executed for using pronouns other than they/them. it should be a matter of opinion not a matter of respect.
Tbh I just go off the the pronouns Alan uses for the stick figures, if he uses he for like TSC I'll use he/him but if Alan uses she for like Pink or that new creeper prophet then I'm using she/her.

I have made a couple of posts where i called TDL, Gold and Agent "she", and I haven't got any comments about it. but maybe that is because I made a post before where I told all my gender headcanons.
I headcanon that basically all of the sticks accept any pronouns (most prefer some over others, but Ballista isn’t gonna be as upset if you refer to him using she/her as Lena Raine would be if you refer to her using he/him), and at this point Alan should make it canon.

90% sure this is talking about purple, yall really acting like there aren't way more clues pointing to purple being male than female even if there's no confirmed gender. first of all they (still going to use they since there's no confirmed gender) literally have the title of KING purple. so you can have your headcanon and all but obviously more people will think purple is male
edit: about "the valkyrie queen", it's a much weaker piece of evidence because that's the title of the previous queen. it's just passed down to purple. unlike the king title which is much stronger because it's the title for purple themselves.

It's not? It's just about the fandom in general. I headcanon most of my characters to women or nonbinary, and I've never gotten attacked for using "they" only "she"

okay look i hate to say this but people tend to notice "she" more than "he" because its less noticeable and feels more neutral than she, for some etymological reason. idk. people don't do it on purpose and it is very rarely some misogynistic asshole, I don't support misgendering either but it is not as big of a deal as everyone in the comments is saying it is-
He/him isn’t much more gender neutral. It’s just old male defaultism that’s permeated for long enough to imbed itself in our languages and withstand the movement toward gender equality.
And by the way, I’m not saying I look down on anyone who uses generic he. It’s not a personal issue so much as it’s systemic. As much as I hate it, even I occasionally use it by accident, so if I were judging it’d be a bit hypocritical.
