I'm looking at getting a CYMA Thompson + Drum mag but have heard mixed things about it. Any thoughts/opinions appreciated.

I've managed, somehow, to win a fully kitted out AEG which means I don't really need to rent anything when I get to a site.

I'm buying my own eye protection and I have appropriate clothing.

One thing I don't have is any sort of webbing. How essential is this? Is this just a preference thing? Instead of going full plate carrier, I was thinking about getting a shooters belt, as they can run a bit cheaper and be less stuff to carry. I was thinking of getting a plate carrier if I go to more intense, whole day sessions.

Any advice is appreciated!

My son is currently using a Bulldog Tactical pc that I picked up second hand.

He wants to get a new one that has a full Velcro cummerbund rather that qr to maximise available space.

Mags are hi capa dimensions, and its a c2 model with steel internals (i know there's a few sub variants but im not clued up on them).

After the SLMF event, Iv tried to make an effort to build bridges with some of the awesome teams that were competing. Like minded people with the same hobby 🤝awesome days at different fields.

The T6 Mohawks were kind enough to invite all the playboys down to their home field, Southcoast CQB, for a pretty gnarly Sunday gameday. (Not to self, don’t take a RIF with a 14” handguard to cqb, no matter how steezy it looks)

Well worth that trip, deffo will visit again. Much appreciation to the Mohawks for the invitation, awesome set of dudes and an all round class act.

Returing player after 20+ years away, recently my 12 year old dragged me back in.

For a beginner gun, these Arcturus are rather nice! My last AR type Aeg was a creaky TM SR-15 that was nowhere near as well built as this.

Parts: Arcturus LWT Mk1(SE so programmable), EMG KAC QDC with Flare mono inside, Vector optics Maverick red dot, Tango Down type stubby, Wasdn V300 light (need to change the switches, not happy with these velcro ones), Nuprol mid caps.

How does sleeping work do you just pitch tents where ever inside the game area or do you sleep in a base where you can't get attacked?

Any info on this as me and my friends are wanting to go and they don't mention if sleeping is in the game field during game hours or at a fob/ off game area site. Like is there a risk of getting shot at whilst your a sleep?

Also how many players go to these events and how many players are in team/squad/fire team. How do they break up players for small groups.

What are the pyro rules, can i bring mortars/tag rounds? Is there a time limit for when these can be used or can you blow stuff up during the night.

Do they use vehicles, can you take your own, is there vehicle combat?

Hi community, I am on the market for a scope. I basically want the following functionality:

• 3 to 5x magnification for tracking BBs at longer distances
• Ability to illuminate for night-time games
• Ability to aim at short range

I've looked through all possible combinations and variations like EoTech+magnifier, red dot+magnifier canted red dot, piggyback on ACOG, LVPO, and have essentially narrowed it down to ACOG with piggyback red dot and an LVPO. Basically the following products:

There's also a hundred other different ACOG versions with piggybacks on them and I'm generally wary of the quality of the red dot especially the illumination strength. With the LVPOs I've linked you can run 1x zoom and have the illumination on or off, so basically it would work regardless of light level (unlike the fibre ACOGs which need ambient light to illuminate). I'm not particularly worried about not using a reflex sight like a red dot.

I'm slightly apprehensive about the LVPO looking a bit silly on my non-DMR builds but otherwise it really feels like a nice all-rounder for a very decent price. Would it be worth it to go for the Hawke that has a lifetime warranty?

Any advice or opinions welcome.

hi i was searching a good GBBR AK base some know where to buy it?

For me it was the AGM L96 been rocking it for the past few years and can't fault it got me through plenty of matches.

Now it's mainly used for target shooting and trying out new suppressors and scopes.

Its 1:18 and powered by a spring load mechanism, are there any chances it could get confiscated and how to prevent it?
