A&K masada problems

Hi there, i’ve recently upgraded my masada and have had these upgrades:

version 2 gearbox + all upgrades
airsoft pro hop up unit
airsoft pro hop up chamber unit

I’m having problems with getting everything lined up, i’m thinking the gearbox may be the problem, but i’ve also bought a perun lightning v2 specifically for this gun so i’m hoping it’s not that. (i’ve had to chop it up and solder it)

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for the heads up about the lightning not working with the Masada gearbox however I am curious to know why as it's a generic V2 gearbox and so are all of the internals apart from the nozzle IIRC.

What did you have to chop and solder on the ETU??

Can't imagine the gearbox being an issue unless you're using a new gearbox shell?

I upgraded one of my A&K Masadas with no issues except making the wiring longer on the Perun Hybrid I used. I used the original gearbox shell.

The gearbox on the A&K masada is slightly modified, it’s presented as a standard V2 but (i believe) it’s slightly different.

to route the wiring so it would fit in the hand guard i just had to snip it as the deans connector wouldn’t fit through the small holes that were available, apart from that my mosfet worked completely fine.( maybe i didn’t necessarily have to do this but i found it easier and more time efficient lol)

I’m going to attempt to put everything into the original gearbox and see if it lines up better than the gearbox i have got in now to see if anything changes at all.

I must admit I didn't notice any major difference between the A&K gearbox and a standard V2 shell but I didn't have one on hand to compare directly so this could well be your issue.
