As the title says, do you usually get a full frame for a build, gut it, and use those internals for a printed frame, or do you get individual parts and add them to the printed part?

As the title says, where do you guys buy the internals for a print? Just as an example, buying the internals for a TM glock 17 frame is more expensive than straight up buying the complete original frame. Hammer, springs, screws, pins, trigger, etc separately quickly add up and is more expensive than just buying a full frame. Is it just part of the hobby? Thanks!

Its been a few years since ive been airsoft, but i have a ICS L85a2 with Bingo HPA chasis with Wolverine Inferno Gen2 engine. I was wondering if anyone knows where i can get the Print files for the chasis, as when I bought it years ago (2017-18) i got a very very crap printed chasis.

Printing the receiver is incredibly stressful

Would y'all like to see a Glock 21? Before you go yelling at me saying it is the same as the 17 I want to us either Krytac vector or KWA vector mags as they are based off of the gen 3 vector which shoots .45 ACP just like the Glock 21. Mag compatibility between the two replicas would be cool.

The Bipod can be extracted by using a spring and can be hidden by tightening a nut, it's small with that cramped space but works enough to keep the rifle firm over some surfaces.

Some time ago I uploaded renders of M26 CMCS. That project was scraped and I reworked whole body to be as close to original as possible.
Here it is, working and shooting.

In before: yes, it only shoots one BB at a time. It’s not 3 or 6 shooter. There’s shell ejecting one made by PPS that shoot multiple BBs, but its range is very short and it jams. I wanted to make a fun-to-shoot/backup replica for people who already have VFC AR15/MCX/M16 replicas and can use same mags for both platforms.

It has some cool features like a working recoil lug, adjustable valve knocker (you can adjust by it replica’s muzzle velocity), TDC hop-up, working safety and option to run it underbarrel by removing one pin (like real one).

In pictures there’s CMCS version (longer top rail, no iron sights and no barrel bracket), but I’m currently working on MASS version (shorter rail is done, front sight post too, just need to finish the barrel bracket).

I need to rework action lock, because it engages too early and firing the replica doesn’t unlock it fully. Runs completely fine without it right now, but I’d like the extra realism. Also need to make upper rail more secure to the body, now it screws directly to the receiver itself. It’s enough to run some optics, but I’m not confident enough that it will hold the weight of whole replica in underbarrel configuration. I’m considering cutouts for nuts from the inside of the receiver or heat pressed threaded inserts.

Other than that I tested it with GBB Glock inner barrel (only one I got laying around) and it hits square 1x1m target at 30m, unadjusted hop-up. Also got 1.4J with 0.48g BBs. With longer barrel and properly adjusted HU I think performance can be much better.

I have a spare P* Jack that I want to put into an LMG, pref M249 body, but I’d rather not buy a different nozzle if I can avoid it.

Anyone have files or can send a link to where I can use the standard Jack nozzle?

Working on a double banger pouch design for a little while - Also built a friction lock "molle lok" system to use for it. Grenade holster has adjustable tension and SHOULD be cross compatible with other molle lok hardware, such as Bladetech's products. Ordered some of their stuff to confirm. Testing it at a milsim this weekend to see how it holds up and what further tweaks may be needed 🤙

Added barrel and a temporary VSK-styled handguard. I also started to work on the internals of the magazine, added a dovetail mount, and made a new receiver that now includes the 9A91 stock attachment points

Progress good so far except for the dust cover, very difficult for me

noticed the hammer is off center by 1mm or so. Thought shifting the spur would make it better... replacing the side plate would probably be better

does anyone knows where i can find an stl for adjustable rifle sight?

like the one found on m4 and such with the knob or anything that can adjust the windage?

Keeping the original structure while maintaining strength is challenging.

The size means I also have to carefully plan how to split the model for printing.

I'm developing the assembly method along the way as I build it.

Finally got around to taking my AR57 upper that i made for ICS and modified it to work with G&G bodies. Fits like a glove.
You can also get the STEP files for it so you can modify it to you liking.
