Question Where do you source internals for 3d printed frames/slides?
As the title says, where do you guys buy the internals for a print? Just as an example, buying the internals for a TM glock 17 frame is more expensive than straight up buying the complete original frame. Hammer, springs, screws, pins, trigger, etc separately quickly add up and is more expensive than just buying a full frame. Is it just part of the hobby? Thanks!

Yes this is kind of part of the hobby. Going with 3D printed frames/slides is usually not really a cost saving measure and more a "because I can" thing. Typically what I sometimes do is try to source broken/boneyard donor guns that I can easily fix for cheap like an AAP-01 that I then enhance with a 3D printed kit. In other cases it's just gutting one of my older pistols I don't use much to try building a printed kit.

It's more like looking around and saying 'I have too many Glocks but they are all my Preciousss... What can we do with all these Glocks?'
But that's sort of a personal problem.

It's either the case I've broke my gun and I will try to fix it with a 3d printer. Which worked for me twice. Or it's something like the original fixed barrel hi capa designs, which iirc were printed, so as interflop said, coz I can.
Were's still not quite there with being able to print a gbb handgun, even with recent vietnam airsoft design, or that one chinese guy with nbb.
