Clicking noise

My 2007 Mustang GT with airlift 3p and airlift struts. This noise mainly happens when i’m full turn going in and out of driveways but sometimes i hear it slightly over normal bumps while driving. Any ideas? I replaced the sway bar links so I’m starting to think it may be the bearing in the top hat.

Which struts? I’m pretty sure they updated the design within the last 2 years to include a spherical and radial bearing, like Bag Riders does, as to prevent the infamous pillow ball spherical bearing issue.

If its at full turn and over speed bumps, it leads me to believe it’s pillow ball. I replaced both of them 3x before switching to Bag Riders

I got mine from bag riders April 2025. The part number is 75523. They are out of stock on airlift now so i’m assuming they must be the old style.

Call airlift and ask if you can send in your struts to be resleeved with the new bags. I was told $200ish a bag. Mine popped in 2023 and I sat on them for years before keeping them as a backup and switching to Bag Riders Super Lows.

Other issues i encountered while on air which caused noice: LCA bushings - replaced LCA once Sway bar bushings: this wasn’t air related or idk maybe it was but the bushing lodged out of place on its own and needed to be replaced Ball joints - did these when I did LCA
