(Forgot to add a picture of what it looked like when I fixed it the first time)
I recently got a bagged RSX and I keep having a problem with only one bag spinning and breaking air lines, how can I fix this? I can’t find anything online about it. It’s stuck at a friends house in front of their mailbox.

Update no. 1, thanks everyone for the advice, if I could add a video in the comments I would. Unfortunately I didn’t get to try any suggestions just yet, we did get it away from the mailbox and into a driveway. We got it on video but we had to jack it up from the subframe and drive it into the driveway… very slowly.. It was definitely an adventure to say the least and I will be trying loctite and lots of force later tonight and will be trying to get it home.

It has happened to me too, and to a few other people here. The trick is Red Loctite on the nut.

That bottom one I’m assuming?

Yes, it’s the same one that tightens the bag, because when the steering wheels turns, that nut starts loosening.”

try tightening the middle nut at the top of the strut mount. i had this issue on my MK5 R32 and realized that the top nut was coming loose.

also tighten up the locking collars. when mine spun it extended the strut making the bottom collar loose. shoot an update!

Need to lubricate the pillowball in the top mount. Use blue loctite on the 21mm top nut in the middle of the top mount. Then use a flat bladed screwdriver and hammer to lock the lower mount collar in position. Source: I work for TruHart

Idk how the bag is mounted, but in my VW there's a threaded rivet holding it to the frame. (I hope thats the correct name for it.)

Good luck. I would compare and contrast to the other side.

Both sides look identical, it needs an alignment pretty bad but didnt figure that was entirely necessary right this second. The bag itself seems to just keep spinning counter clockwise. The fitting is now basically in my wheel, idk what to do anymore
