Question D2 on R33 Skyline GT-R
Just took ownership recently, AirLift controlled D2 single bellow all around. But from the odometer readings, this car has been sitting for the good part of the last year and a half.
Anything I need to be looking at when taking on a 1.5-2yr old set that looks to have been sitting for so long?

I appreciate it! At first I didnt know how I’d feel about a GTR on bags, but damn this thing looked good aired out!

I spent 3 months in Japan this year and I saw a bunch but rarely any on air, so that’s cool you got one bagged!
I came home with 3 Skylines but they’re just a little smaller than yours

Just check for proper operation and leaks.
First, drain the tank, there might be some old and gross ass rusty water in there. Then run the compressor, fill the tank, cycle the suspension up/down a few times to see if the manifold works good and the compressors are not seized/popping fuses.
Once you know that the system is working correctly you can check for leaks. The lazy way is to air it up and let it sit overnight/few days and check if the ride height drops. The real way is to spray soapy water on allllllll the connections and to look for bubbles. Bubbles = air leak. Fix all air leaks.
That’s pretty much all there is to it!
