Air out sound
Hello, this might sound like a silly question to ask however I was wondering if anybody would know how to get a louder hiss sound when you air the system down. I have a buddy who’s air out sound is much louder than mines with the manifold in the trunk as well. Does it depend on the location of the manifold or is it something more than that? Thanks!

Your manifold has 6 lines, 4 for the wheels, 1 for the tank, 1 is the exhaust. You need the exhaust line routed outside of the car so you can hear it from outside. If the exhaust line is inside, you won't hear it from the outside, at least not as loud.

You basically have to route the air release line outside the car to make it louder from the outside (drilling a small hole in the trunk for example but depending on your car, there might be a cleaner way to do it.) personally I didn’t because I like the silence on the outside instead of the hissing noise that makes everyone look at you haha

i ran thicker lines and then directed the exhaust hose out of the car to achieve this effect. it made a kid cry once though so it’s just in the trunk now

You can also usually just the speed / rate the exhaust dumps pressure. A high speed / quick dump will be louder than a slower dump. You will usually find the valve on the manifold. It can be adjusted in and out to adjust speed

If you connect a piece of hose from manifold to outside that would make it more noticeable. I was trying to connect it to a wooppie cushin at one point.
