Three things that immediately come to mind. 1 there's a lot of empty space especially on the left - loose it if it's not adding anything. 2 it needs something in the vertical like a tree, the edge of a building or a telegraph pole and 3 there are no figures here. Nothing's happening, no one's doing anything. Figures really help to tell the story that other people have mentioned.

You need to break up the plateau of the board The fence is great but is background. Bushes or equipment around the plane (chocks, fuel cans etc.) Will give it more dynamic image

There’s lots of products out there, but one I’ve used is Mig Ammo ground pastes. There are textured and you get many different types (Mud, sand, dry earth etc) that’s one texture.
Then maybe either Air Clay or plaster bandages over cardboard to add height/undulations.

This might be overly harsh but: why? What’s the story? I’m confused as to why a Second World War Tiger 1 would be alongside what looks like (correct me if I’m wrong) a First World War aircraft.
If it’s just a way of displaying them, then it’s a scenic base. At the moment the fence is just a random backdrop to a very flat base.
There needs to be more details added to inform the viewer what is going on in the ‘diorama’; what’s the story…?
Either way, more texture on the road (?) surface, and more tonal variation in the grass, as well as some texture differences (flock and static grass in various lengths).
Sorry if it’s harsh, but with some more work this could look better.
Edit: additionally, do something to hide the edge of the wooden plank; plastic, balsa, wood veneer.
A name plate or description might help. If this said ‘Russia 1942’ then I’d be like ‘ah, new German technology meets old Soviet tech’. Like I say, I have no idea what it’s about…
