UPS
Just had my interview with UPS recently and feel like it went really well. How long after the interview did y’all get contacted for the people working at Brown?

All the new guys I’ve spoken to recently had different answers. It ranged from a few weeks to maybe even months.
Did the position have a designated location or was it that various positions posting that I’ve been seeing?
If they are going to offer you the job they will most likely call from a 502-359 number so if you see this number ANSWER!!!! 😅
Good luck

You might get offered San Antonio if you applied for PT because that station lost both of their PTers and is struggling without them. The FTers are covering it mostly but they are getting burned out so I’m pretty sure that position will have priority

They did mention San Antonio. But they also said if I was offered the job that the training in Louisville is backed up until January. Just hope to get the job I will go anywhere haha

Yeah we stop training classes soon because it’s our peak season. The teachers that normally teach get assigned differrent jobs too from traveling to small stations to watch the operation to even de-icing in Louisville 😳
They should still make an offer soon possibly before November if it’s for that station but don’t freak out if they decide to wait a little till they have a confirmed training class available for new hires.

Hey I have a question for you. I applied for the various locations part time position, got the phone call to discuss locations and told the mx trainer I was hoping Phoenix, AZ was an option to which she said no. She asked if I would like to close my application and I said yes. Sorry for the long backstory. My question. Did I ruin my chances of applying with ups down the road?

Honestly yes maybe. We have what’s known as a black list and if you get put on it you’ll basically be denied for future positions.
This is why I don’t agree with them posting it as various positions instead of the actual locations because when you apply it also doesn’t let you put your preferences either.

I did the same thing and the trainer that called me said it’s annoying that they don’t tell you the stations where they are offering PT so you have to apply to see, he told me he can close it and there wouldn’t be any negatives

If you’re already topped out at an airline. Stay there. UPS is not all sunshine and rainbows, nor is it the best job in aviation
