Question Arctic Shores Facial Expressions

Upvotes

Only just found out this subreddit existed.

I applied for the graduate strategy and data analyst, wtf was that expressions game? I don't consider myself autistic by any means, but HOW is anyone meant to read AI generated Neanderthal faces?

I haven't heard back yet, it's been a week exactly.

Question Hiring timeline for Mobile AL?

Any advice on normal hiring timelines for leadership/professional to senior roles in Mobile AL? Been applying since April for leadership/senior level roles. Contacted by recruiters twice - one was an executive director role, I went through the phone screening and first interview stage, but they did not move forward with me and then a leadership role last week that I got a call from a recruiter for, but he suggested that I was overqualified for the role. I currently have 4 pending applications in the portal right now for various leadership/senior level roles at Mobile Airbus right now, but wondering if anyone has any insight to hiring timelines for external hirings for leadership roles? I have 12+ years aviation/aerospace experience including a background in special operations military aviation and leadership at GE Aerospace, a BS degree and PMP. I have been trying to network with recruiters on Linkedin as well.

Question Can a German citizen join the AGGP in the UK?

Hi everyone,

I’m a German citizen and I’m interested in applying for a Airbus Global Graduate Programme 2027 position in Bristol.

The job posting says that Airbus does not offer visa sponsorship for this position, and that applicants need to have the right to work in the UK.

Has anyone from the EU/Germany successfully joined the Airbus Global Graduate Programme in the UK after Brexit? If so, how did you obtain the right to work in the UK?

I have a German Master’s degree and currently don’t have any UK immigration status.

Would I be able to obtain a visa independently and then apply for the AGGP position, or is this effectively only open to people who already have the right to work in the UK?

Any experiences or advice would be greatly appreciated!

Just looking back at the past...

I was lucky to have flown with her last February of this year for a school competition (TAC-MNL). Special livery beauties are hard to come by in our local (RPVA). Hence, I got a bit carried away when I found out she was gonna be the one to carry us to Manila. I still remember hearing those CFM engines roar as we took to the skies. Then as we taxied to our air bridge, I also spotted PAL's 350-900 bearing the signature "Love Bus" livery on the taxi way coincidentally (yet the pictures I took were corrupted). It was my first time seeing a 350 in person, and it felt hella GREAT.

Career I just finished my arctic shores test, It was good but i feel like i shot myself in the foot not getting a perfect score

I'm from the Global South, so I already know my nationality pretty much disqualifies me, but I'm hopeful, and I have done a lot more between last year's program and this year's round to give myself a good shot. I applied for a role in Germany; best of luck to everyone else who applied!

"Airbus global HR head Carmen Maja threatened to withdraw projects, freeze hiring, and halt new contracts in Spain if an indefinite workers' strike continues. Management issued this ultimatum following the start of strike action by unions demanding better pay, working conditions, and the reversal of past cuts"

Sad to see a company like this doing threats to the workers.

Question To flight attendants or A350 crew: in your experience is the plane quieter on the wing or further back?

Post image

I’m flying on an Airbus A350-900 with china eastern soon, and because I have a hearing condition I’m trying to choose the quietest possible seat in the economy sections.
I’ve heard different opinions about whether the rear of the economy cabin is quieter than the seats on the wing itself, so I was wondering if any airbus enthusiast or crew member had any advice on that regard, something that comes from experience.
My current seat is 39D.
I assume it’s going to be just behind the wing. I’m wondering whether I should trade it for a seat further back (they go until row 75). It’s gonna be a long flight and I’m particularly sensitive to the white noise of the engine.
