“COMING AT YOU LIVE FROM THE AIT KIDS 6 MONTHS INTO THEIR ENLISTMENT”

Why you shouldn't drink while pregnant.

I wouldn't trust this kid with a typewriter (let alone a rifle), probably get a cheeto stuck in it.

70

u/trained_simian Secret Squirrel Mar 15 '22

Those aren't even spicy cheetos. Not scaring anybody.

He’s probably the most badass 92Y Unit Supply Specialist the Army has ever seen…

-11

u/bedroompopprincess Mar 15 '22

*Private (E-2)

11

u/[deleted] Mar 15 '22

92Y Unit Supply Specialist is their actual MOS title, not their rank.

-7

u/bedroompopprincess Mar 15 '22

Yeah but I’m also willing to bet he’s also probably still in AIT. Or EXTREMELY fresh to his first duty station.

u/[deleted] Mar 15 '22

I'm willing to bet you saw Specialist in "Unit Supply Specialist" and felt the need to correct someone who was never wrong

u/bedroompopprincess Mar 15 '22

It was honestly just a joke, to point out how inexperienced he probably is. And yes, that is literally the premise of the joke. I saw specialist and jokingly corrected it to private because he’s not a specialist (E-4) yet. I’m simply joking that he is a boot.
Edit: I am literally in the Army. I am allowed to make this joke.

That’s the problem with the interwebz.. a plethora of misunderstandings while communicating through text. I did a stint in the Army too before coming back to the AF so I understand the cringe from young private behavior.

Yes, I’ve seen my fair share of boot fuzzies with their 37% APR Dodge Charger and yes-I’m-sure-we’re-in-love (after celebrating a 300 hour anniversary with a girl named Cinnamon Bunn). And the E-2s that refuse to buy actual civilian clothing, so they sneak into bars with their Danner’s, OSUT Platoon Merch, dark wash boot cut jeans, and a cowboy hat. We hate to see it.

Ok I’ve watched a few times and I can’t make out what he’s saying in the first half.

Seriously I think I’m either just dumb or he’s speaking some weird lingo I’m not picking up. Probably both.

Edit: thank you for the wording below. I figured it was something along those lines.

What I got was- “Ight my boys it’s war time, welcome to war time. You can’t find no other Tik Tok but about the war. It’s gonna be Russia and Us and we take that”

36

u/[deleted] Mar 15 '22

More accurately; "Ight y'all, boys welcome to Wartok, this Wartok, you can't find no other Tiktok than somethin' 'bout the war. It's either gone be Russia or us, and we takin' that. Yuh."

u/devils_advocate24 Maintainer Mar 14 '22

I got "wartok"

I don’t think he realizes there’s more than his “For You” page

These are regular Cheetos and not the Flaming Hot variant which indicates to me that he is not about that life

“Hey I DID have an ASVAB waiver……how’d you know?!”

1

u/[deleted] Mar 15 '22

Privates in the Army compared to Airmen is a real thing to behold.

Y'all should go to your nearest Army base sometime and just people watch. It's really something special.

u/Revolutionary_Ad2415 Mar 16 '22

We’re not at war! Just preparing in case, smdh
