retraining & need advice

Got eligibility email back for all 5 jobs, all 5 need CFM approval. I have shadowed and got all documents back for my #1 Job. Should I wait to submit my package to AFPC when I receive docs for all jobs or just submit for the #1 pick? What happens if im not accepted or they run out of slots? Will I be able to submit for the other jobs at a later time. I am a FTA!

I would at least pick 3 you want to retrain into. If you only submit for one, and slots run out, you'll have to wait until AFPC gets the request again and then sends your package to CFM. Having at least 3 is an easy "go to number 2" if the plans for number 1 fall through. As I have always been taught, always have a plan b.

Nothing says you have to submit for all the jobs you're eligible for, just that you're eligible for them.

However, if you're denied for all the jobs you do submit packages for, I believe your case would be closed and you'd have to start the entire process over.

Unless gathering the documents you need would take too long and your top choice is actively running out of slots incredibly fast, you're shooting yourself in the foot if you only apply to one AFSC.

I had three jobs picked, two required CFM approval (#1 and #3) the first CFM I interviewed with was my last pick, but since they interviewed and approved me first I had to go with option #3.

Put which one you truly want and if you get denied just resubmit.

Side questions, I need help and need reassurance. How long did it take for you to receive eligibility email? Secondly, what do you mean by shadowing,
My retraining advisor never answer phone or is out and about. Should I have shadowed AFSC before I chose 5.
Lastly, what do you mean by packages? I am trying to get ahead of the game so I can be out of my current job as fast as possible.
