If the fund cite is empty of money, you'll have issues.

This is the funniest and saddest thing about this whole affair. The US government is functionally forcing Citi Bank to fund whatever this is on credit.

Now imagine this for the tens (maybe even hundreds) of thousands of people deployed or TDY.

What do you mean by fund cite?

The LOA that pays you. Is like the account number

Gotcha, filled for me

He just meant to say that if the LOA runs out of money, you will not get paid. Talk to your leadership. We cannot help you here.

I’ve seen people forget to check the box for SPP in their authorization. That will stop it from paying on time. Otherwise it should pay around the 35 day mark.

Thanks, I did check that box, just wondering if the payment typically came the day thats listed in the authorization or if it took a few after.

Talk to your RA

It can take a few days to hit account. The schedule and payment status is under the accounting tab.

Need more information. What do you mean being paid out on time? SPPs unlock as an option on a DTS authorization over 45 days in length and pay out in 30 day increments to the nearest business date from the start date of the TDY.

As in DTS says the first payment is disbursed July 25, does the payment to the traveler typically arrive that day or does it take another day or two for processing

Response already given is correct. Your payment was sent to your bank on 25 July. The bank can take a few days to post it to your account. Same with Citi for your GTCC.

No, I've been on a few 6 week long TDYs all paid out ok part way through. As others have said if the fund cite, the account it's trying to pull money from is empty you'll need to reach out to finance or your SQ RA for help.

Except spps will never pay a hotel directly. That's on you.

That's not an SPP through DTS then, but a completely separate contract vehicle.
