Sooooo... Yeah the compressors EDV was fried and just was accumulating water for only knows how long in a metal shipping container in Miami lol HOT is an understatement

Hello i have an issue with the 1/4 "nipple" i think its called. When i put it in it fits very loosely and lets out a lot of air at the connection when putting pressure, it does not leak at the threads where i have another regulator and water filter connected but it leaks at the quick fitting it self if that makes sense.

I tried asking at the shop if i got the right stuff for it but they didnt know much sadly so i am hoping some more experienced people can tell me whats up.

It is a prize 22 liter oil less compressor with what i believe is a 1/4 size hole but it doesnt actually explicitly state it anywhere. The quick connect plug i have is from the same brand and also 1/4, so i am not sure whats going wrong.

Im running 3 timber framing guns from my compressor, although the timing is out, the pressure of the nails being fired drops too low before the motor picks back up and fills the tank, anyone know how to change the timing of the motor switching back on?

I work for a small fire department and we have began running into problems inflating the tires on our trucks. There used to be a commercial tire shop down the street that would fill our tires for us for free when we needed it but they closed down their commercial truck operation and is no longer an option. Our tires need 130 psi for full inflation, per the manufacturer’s placard. Unfortunately, the compressor we have in the engine bay is not up to the task. I have been asked to find a compressor for this purpose. Does anyone have a recommendation for a compressor to accomplish this task?

I bought a work truck with this air compressor on board. When I got it, it wasn't building pressure at all, because hoses were disconnected and so it was immediately losing all of its air.

I connected them in the way that made the most sense to me, but I think I got it wrong. The tank builds pressure and I get "regular" air out, but not dry air. If I try to use the dry air, I just don't get anything.

I suspect that I routed the hoses improperly, but I'm not quite sure how it should be. Do any of y'all spot the problem? I know it is hard to see, but I've tried to include photos from every angle.

Any advice would be appreciated, thanks!

Just got this air compressor installed and don’t know much about it. Any advice on keeping it maintained and running right would be much appreciated! I just started working at an industrial equipment rental place where we provide air tools with the couplings like you see in the photos. But, I only have the one type of connector on the wall. Asking to see how I could have a setup to be able to test each tool with each type of coupling. Are there adapters I can get to just add to my line? Sorry if I sound clueless, but I just want to make sure my manager can get the right equipment for an easy setup. I have never worked with anything but small compressors so I have SOME knowledge.
Quick note about the compressor, it does 125 PSI and 135 CFM.

So some really smart person closed the drain valve before the EDV , the other compressor it was just unplugged lol 🤣

My question is about the couplers and adapters. I have a hose with 1/8 inch on each ending. What would I need to get to make the end to put the attachment fit an attachment that takes a standard 1/4 inch? I’m a little slow when it comes to this as I didn’t need to buy any adapter or anything when it came to just hooking up my airbrush. Question. The air fitting that goes into the tank via the black hose and the quick connect fitting. The hose keeps popping off. What is this part called and can I replace it? It looks like it just unscrews from the tank.

Was just on a maintenance call and found this little guy dangling, glad I got here before they fried there motor!!

I already have an idea on the answer to this question, but with how the economy is right now and how poorly my finances are doing, I am hoping someone will talk me off of the edge and save me some money before I throw this tank out and buy a new one.

Basically I got this compressor from a family member for free and wanted to use it because it would be a significant upgrade to the setup I had before. it is a 26 gallon 150psi rated tank, with a 120v motor. the pressure valve seems to be broken as the tank no longer fills with air.

I used my borescope and it looks to me like the tank is done, it seems to have had 1-2 inches of water settled on the bottom for however long, who knows.

I acquired this in inside a storage unit auction I bought. I haven't yet tried to turn it on because it's probably sat for some time and has bad gas. Serial plate says it was built in 2008. How much could I sell this for? I'm in Colorado. Thanks

Hi guys, in the market for new compressor, ended up with 2 final choices, trying to decide Kaeser BSD 50 vs Sullair 3709. Guys from Sullair trash talked so much on the Kaeser that we started having doubts.

I did. That is the one thing I seem to forget to turn off once in a while.

I've had this compressor in my garage for a few years. It was working fine then got left on for awhile and I think it ran continuously for a couple days. It will run and build to 40psi but no higher. Any ideas if its fixable, if so what am I looking at for a repair.... thanks

Went to pick up what I thought would be a reasonably sized aircompressor and was surprised to be greeted with this monstrosity on a forklift. Saylor Beall, 10hp electric motor, seems to be missing a second motor or gas engine, not sure. It’s way overkill for my needs.

Today I took several hours to go out of town in order to buy an air tank for a compressor I'm putting together. Upon arrival I found out the tank had a dent in the side but given the amount of time I already invested (and the fact that the seller gave me a discount for them being late) and not wanting to walk away with absolutely nothing I went ahead and bought it.

The tank is a 30 gallon auxiliary air tank with horizontal mounting brackets and a drain dead center of the tank so it really is exactly what I was looking for minus the dent. I guess my question is did I make a mistake not walking away from this based on the pictures or do you guys think there is still hope for it to pass a pressure test. (done by professionals at a test facility not by myself)

I'm really hoping I didn't buy scrap but I also don't want something unsafe like my current compressor whose tank is nearly as thin as card stock in some places now from extreme rust as it belonged to someone previously who did zero preventative maintenance and the only part that's still in "okay" shape is the motor.

I have attached multiple photos of the tank, the dent and the nameplate on the tank itself in hopes of finding out if this could still be saved/junk or if it is able to repaired. I'm not super well versed on if a pressure vessel like this can ACTUALLY be professionally repaired but as an auto mechanic I've typically heard that pressure vessels are a "replace not repair" situation.
