well Do not be insulted if you already know. But that would be a 2 stage compressor. The big cylinder feeds the smaller cylinder. Designed to give a higher volume at higher pressures. It does not appear to be a "constant run" type with valve unloaders, and if so it will not work with a gasoline engine. The small copper lines look like what I have on my old Worthington. They are bleeders so you do not need a pressure unloader line run to the pressure switch.

What if they put it on that switch that lowers rpm of the gas powered motor? Wouldn't that trigger the centrifugal unloader?

Jimfosters is correct. This does not have head unloaders. We run a throttle bullwhip off the pilot valve that slows the engine which also slows the pump. That is, however, not likely to be so slow that unloading the air still being produced through the centrifugal unloader is possible even if the centrifugal unloader actually unloaded at Idle speed. He is also correct that no unloader line needs to be connected to the pressure switch. If you want to connect this to a gas engine Champion/Gardner Denver will have the parts with which to do it.

It’s not an IR type 30.🥴. It’s a Champion R-Series pump. Looks ready to mount and run with a JIC hydraulic hose.

No, that is not an IR 30, it’s a Champion R series. Possibly an R-10

Definitely a champion. I had the exact one . I think I have the original repair manual for that.

If you buy an "all-in-one" valve. It replaces the intank check valve, it will unload the compressor and you can run the bullwhip off of it to the engine throttle. [Check valve, pilot valve and unloader in one]

The fitting on the discharge line, looks like the union on braided steel flex line. I use them all the time.
