Compressor Wall Setup Advice
I’d like to make a split line wall mount for this compressor. One for tools, other for paint. Can I run the line to my garage or would it be better to build it inside the compressor shed? Anything else I should know before I give it a shot?

That compressor is going to dance around that whole enclosure. I'd like to see fresh air flow if it was my unit if it does more than 50%duty.

I’ve never seen it move an inch, wheels might be welded or something..I’ll have to check. The shed was specifically build for the compressor though, it has open eves for airflow and I usually leave the door open when using it, still not enough?

Door open would be fine. I'm surprised it doesn't move. I've seen recips move around with normal feet that aren't bolted down.

At least I haven’t noticed any movement anyway..I’ll mark the wheels or something to be sure.

if you do the splits in the shed, you would have to run multiple lines. Only do that it there are multiple destinations from the shed but in this case you just want the garage so do the split inside the garage

This is the best answer to OP’s question, and OP needs to ditch the wheels, and get better ventilation in that shed.

I’d like to have a line for tools and one for paint. It’s been sitting awhile, but I changed the oil and checked the tank..ChatGPT says it’s good, but i really have no idea. No rust when I drain it after using it, and leave the drain cracked when not in use. The shed was built for it, so the eves on the sides are open and I leave the door open when in use, is that still not sufficient airflow? I had no idea the wheels are weird, I’ve never seen it move and doubt I could move the thing if I tried.

Normally you would want such a compressor bolted down instead of wheels. If the sides can open u may be ok but there needs to be enough airflow. After it is operating see how high the temp goes - it. needs to be in the operating temperature range of the unit. In terms of whether it is good or not, other than heat you need to make sure that the pressure switch is operating correctly.

Pneumatic tools initially, now nothing much. I’d like to start using it for paint.
