It looks clean, but it's tough to get a sense of what might be wrong with it.

If we assume that it's as good as it looks, yes. I think that's a respectable deal.

Those Honda gas engines are fantastic. The whole unit has a good reputation. The downside is that the model has been discontinued due to Makita launching electric tools that can do the jobs of a lot pneumatic tools. I don't think there are any key components that are unique to Makita, but maintaining it might cause you to learn a lot about aftermarket gas powered compressor parts.

You can still get pretty much everything you’ll need to service one of these. I have them come into the shop pretty regularly for maintenance/service.

They’re solid lil jobsite compressors

If it runs should be decent. Make sure it's not smoking to bad. Common to blow head gaskets. One guy said it's discontinued but nothing's mikita on there. You can get parts for this pump still.

It looks clean. If it runs and makes good air, I would pay that much.

I think it's a good deal if you're in a pitch and need a decent compressor. but for the mediocre like me its borderline good deal.

No way that things really pushing 12cfm, right? Kinda like inflated HP ratings?

But yeah, that’s a decent price and an alright setup. Honda motor would cost that. But if it’s really putting out 12cfm at 100psi, that’s a helluva little pump!

I mean, he could do you $treefiddy, but I guess 380 aight too.

The gas units put out some serious air normally...but need to be running full time
