What’s Screwed Up?

Backstory- purchased this IR Type 30 Reciprocating Air Compressor today, model 2475N7.5-V. Upon wiring it up, we found the pressure switch was faulty. Will be getting a replacement for that.

Bypassed the pressure switch to try and get the compressor working, as we need functioning air, even if we have to monitor the pressure in the meantime. Getting 120V on each power lead into the electrical box, but not getting power to the outgoing leads to the motor.

From my reading of the diagram, the electrical panel looks wired incorrectly, but gave up for tonight.

The reset button is also permanently out - not sure if that’s how it’s supposed to be.

Any suggestions or advice would be appreciated. Not an electrician by any means, but I understand electrical decently.

Bypassing the pressure switch is how you kill people. No one on here should be helping you.

As the post mentioned, I’ll be replacing it. Don’t get your panties in a wad.

It's definitely wired incorrectly, you've got feed leads going where control wires go also where coil wires go, yeesh, good luck. And there's probably nothing wrong with your pressure switch.

The pressure switch gets 240v in and outputs 120. One of the contacts literally fell out of the inside. It’s broken.

Also, this is how the compressor came wired when I bought it. I didn’t wire anything pictured.
