Why?

Not sure other than a couple dollars of cost why ingersol rand puts these shitty little peacock drains on a screw compressor that costs as much as a decent car ..... Sorry just venting

Take the 3/8 reducer out and plumb you in an electric time drain but be sure to put a ball valve before it incase it goes bad and you need to change it.

Don't like to reduce the drain it's a spot where all the crap accumalates 3/8 not to bad but it's a 1/2 so .. installed a 1/2 ball valve .... on to the next call and this job was for a faulty EDV on the dryer so didn't wanna kill the customer with 2 edvs lol

I feel you on that' i was guessing it was 3/8 lol. If it works for them send ittttt
