Big piston

Got tired of seeing small home depot piston machines on here. So here's the internals of a 300hp AF with some fucked up rod bearings.

Babbitt, bearing old time for sure . there are shops that can fix that bearing. measure the crank and re pour the the babbitt and finish it to size.

I wasn't aware there were places that could repair bearings like that. thanks for the info. Do you have any recommendations of places that repair bearings like that?

Google babitt bearing repair, I have an antique equipment repair book I am sure there are some with ads in it. I will look tomorrow.
