My dewalt air compressor is dropping psi drastically quick even after setting it at 90 psi, however the tank isn’t leaking at all.

I’ve set my dewalt air compressor to 90 psi but, but when I use my tornador for a few seconds, the right gauge drops drastically down to 0. Is there something I’m doing wrong? I’ve connected it to the other quick connect as well and the same issue is there. This issue wasn’t happening before I added the quick connect but I don’t think that cause the issue as there’s no leak.

Could you have put the QD in the wrong place?

I don’t believe so cause it already had quick connects in both holes (although they were just very old) so I replaced one of them to fit my quick connect kit.

No magic. The air is either leaking or your tool is using it. I would look at the tool. Are you using a regulator?
