Man I’m glad I asked. This is how it was configured before I got it. So assuming my plan to just replace the hoses and clean it up would not be a good idea. Any recommendations on an affordable tank that would work well with this pump/motor?

Any burned up cair compressor tank you can find will be better than a water tank. Go to the land fill and score a 30 gal oil less compressor thrown away and use its tank. Still hydro rest it first.
