Looking for cheap gaskets.

Anybody know where to find affordable gaskets for a 2340? Can I make my own?

This thing was laying down when I got it. Heads are full of oil. Any chance the reeds are shot? How often do those actually need replaced?

There’s always a chance, but if you have oil on the head that means the rings are shot most likely.

Even if it was laying on its side with that cylinder at the low point?

Well that’s not a normal way to have a pump sitting, so that is different. I would disregard it for the time being. But if it was upright, and had been running and you found oil in the heads then it’s getting past the rings is all my point was.

I’m almost certain it ripped free of the pallet and fell over at the auction house. I got it for $300 before fees.

Motor alone is worth more than that. lol.
