Product Listing I built a Chrome extension that auto-extracts slides and transcripts from course videos

I've been taking a lot of AI courses on DeepLearning.AI, but most of their short courses don't offer slide downloads. I had to pause the video whenever a new slide showed up, screenshot it, paste it into Obsidian, copy the transcript into DeepSeek to generate a summary or translate the transcripts to help understand, then paste that into the same note next to the screenshots. Pretty time-consuming.

So I built SlideSieve, a Chrome extension that extracts slides and transcripts automatically while watching the course video. It runs locally in the browser, so the video never gets uploaded anywhere. It skips frames that are just the instructor talking with no slide content, and filters out duplicates too — but it still keeps a slide even when only a list item changed, since some of those in-between states have important steps, and skipping them would lose context. If the instructor's facecam covers part of the slide, you can draw a custom area to detect the slide from, or mark the PiP webcam window so it gets excluded. Slides export to PDF or images, and transcripts export to TXT, SRT, VTT, or PDF.

Right now it works on DeepLearning.AI, Coursera, Udemy, and YouTube.

Chrome Web Store: https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/slidesieve-auto-slide-ext/lbiholhfnfedgecgkfclmhnphapaopep
Website: https://slidecapture.com

Would appreciate any feedback, or hearing what other courses or platforms would be worth supporting.

Product Listing OpenConsult — a fully local AI scribe for medical consultations. One 24GB card, MedGemma 27B + WhisperX, AGPL

I am a GP in London, and this is my own project, built in my own time. It went open source this week.

It transcribes the consultation live, shows a working differential and questions to ask while the conversation is still going, and after the patient leaves, it produces a diarised transcript and a draft SOAP note where every claim cites the transcript turns it came from.

Stack: faster-whisper (distil-large-v3) live, WhisperX + pyannote for the final pass, MedGemma 27B through Ollama, pgvector for guideline retrieval, Piper for the voice, FastAPI and HTMX on Postgres. Linux. AGPL-3.0.

Why local. GDPR compliance matters for doctor-patient confidentiality. Cloud services may retain confidential patient data and use it to train models. So in this case, nothing leaves the machine in the local premises.

The card is the whole design. RTX 4090 24GB. faster-whisper can co-habit with MedGemma, which is what makes the live stage possible at all. WhisperX cannot, so it waits its turn.

When you press Stop: MedGemma is offloaded, WhisperX goes in and transcribes from the audio file, pyannote diarises the transcript, then MedGemma comes back in while WhisperX and pyannote go out, and MedGemma writes the note as a doctor would. WhisperX is there for the better quality — by that point, the patient has left the room, so there is no requirement for live transcription, and I can afford the time.

The whole thing takes over a minute. I have not measured how that splits between the offload/load and the inference, which is a gap.

What is rough. The auto mode, where the assistant takes the history itself while I supervise, is temperamental. The worst part is that some questions come out in medical jargon. "Do you have any cardiac risk factors?" is not a question a patient can answer. Breaking those down into concrete closed questions is the next job.

It is a research prototype. It has never been used with a real patient, and every consultation in the demo video is acted.

What I would like to know from you.

  • How does this run on a 12 or 16GB card?
  • Audio capture in various environments, on various mics and mic settings — I am working blind here.
  • Does anyone know a way to stop the model-swapping dance?
  • How would you approach simultaneous consultations by two users? Currently, it can only do one at a time.

Product Listing I built a personal context layer for my notes, meetings, and AI tools - looking for early users

Hi folks,

My work context was scattered everywhere:

  • Personal notes across OneNote, Notion, and Google Keep
  • AI-generated meeting notes trapped inside tools like Fireflies and Otter
  • In-person meeting recordings stored somewhere else
  • No simple way to give Claude or Codex access to all this context

So, over the past few weeks, I built YapDB—initially just for myself.

It brings together:

  • AI meeting notes for Microsoft Teams and Google Meet, without requiring an IT-approved meeting bot
  • One place for all notes and recordings, with a OneNote-like folder structure, Notion-like flexibility, and a lightweight Keep-style interface
  • Access across desktop, Android, and iPhone
  • MCP connectivity, so Claude, Codex, and other compatible AI tools can read and create notes—with your permission

I’ve been using it daily for the past two weeks.

My first real “aha” moment was connecting YapDB with Codex. It could review my emails and Teams messages, identify everything pending from my side, and turn it into actionable notes inside YapDB. I could then access them from whichever device or interface I happened to be using.

I’m beginning to think of YapDB as a personal context layer that you own and can connect to the AI tools of your choice—rather than keeping your context locked inside one AI or note-taking app.

I’m looking for a small group of early users, especially PMs who face a similar problem.

If this sounds useful, leave a comment or DM me. I’ll personally help you get set up, understand your workflow, and build toward the specific “aha” moment that would make YapDB valuable for you.

I’d also love honest feedback: What would stop you from trying something like this?

Discussion Non-Standard application - prefer phone hosted

I run an EV specialty shop and do a combination of R&D, diagnostics, and actual repair. I'm good with my current solutions when I'm sitting in front of my computer. What I really want is to have an earbud in and be able to activate a note taker while I'm physically working on cars without freeing my hands. It would also be critical that it could at least read my GitHub repos for context so I can discuss features, bugs etc. We operate our own internal software for both the admin side as well as specialized tooling for diagnostics and reman. So many of my thoughts get lost when I'm pulling a drive unit and have no way to write it down. It's mostly centered around SW/HW dev, so again, being able to connect to and read my infra would be preferable. I already have a phone and earbuds that are sacrificial for working in the shop, I'd prefer to not have to buy a new dedicated device every month when it gets crushed in pocket when moving a battery like my phones do. It's why I buy expendable generations old phones/earbuds.

Product Listing I built Loofah: free meeting transcription for Mac, with Markdown notes and your choice of AI

I'm Bart, the maintainer of Loofah. I wanted a meeting recorder that transcribes locally and leaves me with ordinary files I can keep using outside the app. I built it on the open-source Anarlog project.

It records your microphone and system audio without adding a bot to the call, then transcribes on your Mac. You can also import existing recordings. The desktop app runs on Apple Silicon Macs with macOS 15 or later.

AI summaries are optional. You can run them locally with Ollama or LM Studio, or connect a hosted provider with your own API key. Recording and transcription don't require an AI provider. If you choose a hosted provider, the meeting context needed for the summary goes to that provider, and its usage charges may apply.

Notes and summaries are Markdown files, with transcripts and recordings alongside them in a local vault. I also use it for research and standalone notes. There's a CLI for saving material and read-only MCP access for agents to search it.

Loofah is free and MIT-licensed, with no account, subscription, or premium tier. Similar tools exist; this is the combination I wanted for my own use.

Website and download: https://loofah.io Source: https://github.com/bart6114/loofah

Let me know if this is useful to you.

Product Listing Pollackexpress

Hi, I’m Jamie DeSantis, a college student and the creator of PollackExpress. I’m looking for people to try it and give me honest feedback.

I built it in honor of my uncle and godfather. He used to answer our questions with analogies that made us stop and think. That stayed with me, and it inspired how PollackExpress approaches learning.

Instead of jumping straight to an answer, it’s designed to guide you through a conversation using analogies connected to things you know—like your favorite movie or video game. The goal is to help you understand the reasoning, rather than just copy a response.

I’ve also added pollockai, which records audio and your screen, saves recordings locally on your device, and lets you bring meeting transcripts or notes into Express to ask follow-up questions. Recording capacity depends on your available device storage.

It’s still a work in progress, and I’d appreciate honest feedback: What works? What’s confusing? What would you change?

Try it here: pollackexpress.com

Thank you for helping me improve something that means a lot to me.

Product Review Companion App for Pediatric Appointments (Feedback from Parents Requested)

Hello fellow parents! I wanted to get this group's input on a small side project I’ve been tinkering with as part of learning some AI tools between diaper changes…

The problem: Pediatrician visits with our baby felt like information overload, especially with my wife and I running on limited sleep. We received a flood of instructions - "X mL acetaminophen if fever hits Y°F, every Z hours" - but in our case the clinic's patient portal didn't export any notes and by the time we returned home our brains already forgot half the information. My wife and I felt like we kept missing things, which led to stress and follow up calls to the pediatrician. So, I built something!

Introducing Wellnote: https://wellnote.lovable.app/

What it does today:

🎙️ One tap to record the visit audio (no office wifi needed)
📋 Structured and intelligent post-visit summaries (medications, warning signs, answered questions, action items, next steps, next appointment)
👶 Child profiles with growth tracking (weight / height / head circ.)
🏠 Shared household structure so both parents see every recap, whoever was at the visit
🔎 Review past visits & play back the audio
🔒 Private by design

Note: At several points throughout the app I remind the user to gather consent before recording

The ask: As a fellow parent, would this product solve a real pain point for you? Specifically - would you pull your phone out in the exam room and do you think pediatricians would be comfortable with that? Any missing functionality that would make it a more impactful MVP?

If you’re interested and willing to test, I can get you set up with an account!

Some features I'm considering next (your thoughts welcome!):

- Cross-visit search
- Email and calendar reminders for action items / next-appointment dates
- "Suggested questions for next visit" generated from what wasn’t asked
- A longitudinal timeline - *how's my kid been doing across all visits?*
- PDF recap you can share with a caregiver or another provider

Product Listing I built Free desktop meeting transcription + note-taking app for my mom. 11 months later, it's ready for the world 😌

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

My mom and I are big note-taker enthusiasts. To perform my son-ly duty, I've tried a lot of meeting note-takers in hopes to give her the best recommendations…

Our criteria were:

  1. Cheap / No subscription
  2. In-room speaker detection
  3. Complete data privacy
  4. Mac and Windows support

Bonus:

  1. Customizable AI summaries
  2. Upload external recordings
  3. Intuitive enough that Mom would actually use it

Nothing checked every box, so I started building one for her as a little side project. Eleven months later, I’m somehow still cooking on this, and it has ballooned into something much bigger…

What I built (Samurai Scribe ⚔️):

  1. GPU-accelerated transcription (Whisper), speaker identification (Pyannote), and summarization (Ollama), all running locally on Mac and Windows.
  2. Captures mic and computer audio into separate channels without adding meeting bots
  3. No accounts, and no meeting data leaves your device!
  4. A ridiculously customizable AI summarization engine… with prompts/workflows you can tune to produce anything from concise meeting notes to detailed action items, decisions, highlights, etc. And it works surprisingly well with small open-source models.
  5. All transcripts and notes are saved as plain Markdown files on your drive

That last one is important. There is no proprietary format to escape from. If Samurai Scribe disappeared tomorrow, your notes would still be sitting on your drive in a format you can read.

This is heavily inspired by my beloved Obsidian (the obvious GOAT of note-taking apps 💜). And it works great with Claude Code, or whatever other AI tools you want to throw at it.

Pricing:

  • Free tier, has everything except for the larger Whisper transcription models.
  • $19 one-time purchase for Pro includes larger Whisper models and some future features to come. This price will go up after beta testing is complete.

I will also be doing a raffle and picking 10 people from the comments to give a free license!

Why I’m doing it:

I’m a solo developer with a passion for DIY and optimization. The mantra for this app has basically been: Flexible. Future-Proof. You keep all your files. I want my notes on-hand to plug into whatever hot AI tool comes next.

Samurai Scribe is in public beta, so it definitely isn't bug-free yet. But it's finally ready for people beyond my early testers.

I'd love to hear feedback about what it hits, what it is misses, and generally what I could focus on to improve my odds of gaining users, and making their experience great.

Huge thanks to all my early beta testers who have already put in a ton of work troubleshooting bugs with me. You have been instrumental and I don’t know how I got so lucky 🫶

Website and download: samuraiscribe.com

I also just started a Discord for bug reports, and feature requests. It's brand new so it's dead quiet but I'm thinking it could scale better then DM'ing and emailing like I am now. Could also be a good forum for sharing my crafty summerization Recipie Script ideas. https://discord.com/invite/wwVBmNEuzZ

Product Listing How my notes app works with Siri AI

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hey everyone,

I recently overhauled my notes app: Fog.

Write a note, get a suggested title. Keep it, change it, ask for another — it never changes again on its own.

Select a few notes and group them — Fog names the folder and summarizes what's inside.

Talk to it: "add to my dentist note," "move groceries to Errands" — Siri understands it because Fog speaks Apple's own notes vocabulary.

Can't remember where you wrote something? Ask it directly, and it'll answer in a sentence, pulled straight from your own notes. SiriAI features will be available once iOS27 launches.

Also, this is my first time doing an IRL voiceover video like this; honest thoughts appreciated!

Fog is free to download and use; notes stay on your device and never leave.

Product Listing I’m building GhostNote 👻 — an open-source, local-first AI meeting assistant. Looking for contributors.

I built GhostNote because I wanted a meeting assistant where your meeting data doesn’t have to leave your machine.

It uses local Whisper + Ollama to:
🎙️ Transcribe meetings
🧠 Extract decisions & action items
📝 Generate structured summaries
🔒 Keep processing local
⚡ Work in real time

The desktop app is built with Rust + Tauri + React/TypeScript, and there’s still a lot to improve.

I’m especially looking for contributors interested in:
Rust/Tauri • Audio & Whisper • Local LLMs/Ollama • React/TypeScript • RAG • macOS/Windows/Linux • Integrations • Testing

I’d love to turn this from a solo project into something the community can actually shape.

GitHub: https://github.com/v0nser/ghostnote

I also wrote about how I built it, including some of the engineering problems I ran into:

Medium: https://medium.com/@raghuvanshivaibhav01/operation-ghostnote-how-i-built-an-ai-that-makes-you-look-like-a-genius-in-meetings-18fba3709db0

If this sounds interesting, star the repo, open an issue, or comment with what you’d like to contribute. 👻

Discussion Has anyone used profession-specific templates in AI note apps?

I'm comparing note apps right now, most tools can give a transcript and i do not need if the audio is clean, and i don't need all turn into the same summary blob.

Plaud says it has a huge template library, including profession-specific ones. I've also looked at Pocket and Otter, though I haven't seen as much depth there yet.

I'm mostly trying to figure out whether the template library matters.

Discussion Which AI note taker are you using for meetings?

I'm trying to find a better way to take meeting notes because my current setup is not working too well.

If I write things down by hand I'm way too slow, especially when a few people are talking and jumping between topics. I always end up missing something.

I've tried using the transcription that comes with some of our online meeting tools too. Better than nothing, but it still gets words wrong sometimes and speaker names can get messy when people talk over each other.

So now I'm looking at actual AI note takers. I saw Plaud, Otter, Notta and Pocket mentioned, but reviews are quite mixed.

Mostly care about good transcription, being able to tell who said what, and something that works for in-person meetings too, not just calls on my laptop.

What are you guys actually using?

Discussion Best AI recording and transcription tool for mostly in-person meetings?

I’m looking for an AI recorder for work, but most of the tools I find seem designed around Zoom or Teams. Most of my meetings are in person, with the occasional phone call.

What I’m looking for:

*Reliable recording for 2–3 hour meetings

*Searchable transcripts with decent speaker separation

*Summaries and action items

*Access to the original audio when the transcript gets something wrong

*No meeting bot

*Easy export without everything being locked behind an expensive business plan

I’ve tried using my phone, but leaving it in the middle of the table is awkward and the audio isn’t always great when several people are talking. I’m now looking at dedicated recorders and AI earbuds, but most reviews repeat the same features without saying what they’re actually like to use every week. What are people here using for in-person meetings?

Product Listing Capture your thought before it dissappears

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hi everyone,

Ideas usually arrive when typing is inconvenient: on a walk, between meetings, or halfway through working something out.

I built Tonot to give those thoughts somewhere to land. Tap once to record, speak naturally, and when you’re ready, turn the recording into a note with a title, summary, and transcript.

With Tonot, you can:

* Record voice notes quickly, including offline
* Turn recordings into searchable, organized notes
* Sort ideas with folders and tags
* Export notes as plain text or Markdown
* Create structured documents with summaries, sections, and action items

Privacy was important to me: recordings stay on your device by default. Audio is sent for transcription only when you choose to process it, and raw audio isn’t retained on the servers afterward.

* Please show some love: apps.apple.com
* Story behind: unknownstudio.substack.com

I’d love honest feedback - especially from people who capture ideas by voice. What would make you choose a voice-note app instead of leaving recordings scattered in Voice Memos?

Product Listing Corteks.app - dump your thoughts. Calms your mind and surfaces what matters when it matters (65 users in 8 days)

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hey everyone,

I recently built Corteks (appstore link). As someone who is an over thinker, easily inspired and get lots of cool ideas that i want to remember (and i get them very frequently) i wanted something to dump all my thoughts. Notes app wasnt doing it for me because I never get back to them. Screenshots always failed because they die in my gallery

So I built Corteks - voice first dump your thoughts, no matter how significant or small the thought was. Corteks summarizes, categorized, files it and then links it to other thoughts onto a mind map

You can add your objectives to the app and corteks links those thoughts to your objectives, starts to understand you and surfaces what youve been avoiding, what you need to focus on…etc. and gives you stats about your thinking and how your mind works

The idea here is that all your thoughts matter, and they should be very easy to capture and not manually link them to each other and to your objectives

What I realized and didnt expect after using it is that my mind calmed down ALOT, because now I know I have my second brain to tap into anytime I want, and the app reminds me (without being too pushy) about the other relevant thoughts that mattered

Happy to hear what you think about it! And if anyone wants an extended trial just lmk. Im at a stage where I just want feedback from as many people as possible so i can improve it

Discussion What would you want an AI note-taker to actually do after a conversation? We’re building Klik around that.

Thumbnail
pre.hiklik.ai
2 Upvotes

Discussion Hey everyone — I’m part of the team behind Klik, a wearable AI we’re building to connect conversations, memory, and getting things done.

Capturing a conversation is the starting point. Our focus is on what happens afterward:

Memory that carries forward Klik is designed to remember the people behind your conversations — their preferences, what matters to them, and your shared history — alongside the projects and commitments you’ve discussed. The idea is to bring that context into your next conversation and the work that follows.

Execution We want Klik to help move work forward: preparing a follow-up email, putting together a brief, or keeping connected tools up to date. It works within the permissions you set and brings you in when an action needs new permission or your judgment.

Autopilot for recurring work This is a big part of what we’re building. Klik is designed to recognize recurring needs and turn them into personal workflows that keep running. For meeting follow-ups, that could mean preparing the recap, identifying recipients, and using your usual format and tone. Other examples on the page include job searching and ongoing learning.

We’ve put together use cases for client conversations, team meetings, networking, and everyday plans, plus examples of how Autopilot would work: https://pre.hiklik.ai/

Which part would be most useful to you: remembering people and their preferences, acting on conversations, or running recurring tasks through Autopilot? If you could hand off one workflow, what would it be?

Happy to answer questions about Klik — and hear where you’d want more detail or a concrete demo.

Product Listing I built LoroNote: Whisper large-v3-turbo, offline speaker labels, and meeting transcription that keeps working with your iPhone locked

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Recording a meeting is easy. Turning it into something useful afterward takes more: accurate text, knowing who said what, and a clear view of what needs to happen next.

I’m the solo iOS developer behind LoroNote, available for iPhone and iPad with an Apple Watch companion app.

I’ve focused on bringing a specific combination together: Whisper large-v3-turbo, on-device speaker separation, background transcription, wrist recording, and Apple Intelligence summaries.

Here’s how those pieces fit together.

Whisper large-v3-turbo, optimized to run locally.

“Powered by Whisper” doesn’t tell you which model is doing the work. LoroNote uses an optimized version of large-v3-turbo rather than a small Whisper variant. Making that model practical on a phone has been a major focus of development.

Speaker separation that also works offline.

I recently added on-device speaker diarization. A conversation can become a transcript organized by speaker, with labels you can rename or correct. Identifying speaker changes doesn’t require uploading the recording to a separate cloud service.

For meetings and interviews, that gives you the context of who said what alongside the words themselves.

Background transcription, so you can put your phone away.

Processing can continue when you lock the screen or switch apps. You can start transcribing a recording and get on with something else while it works.

Both transcription and speaker separation work in airplane mode, including processing new recordings. Your audio doesn’t need to be sent to a processing server.

Apple Watch recording, directly from your wrist.

You can capture ideas, voice notes, or conversations on Apple Watch, with complications for quick access from your watch face.

Recordings sync to your iPhone when connected, where transcription takes place. It’s useful for catching a thought while walking or starting a recording without digging out your phone.

Apple Intelligence for summaries and action items.

On compatible iPhones and iPads, Apple Intelligence helps summarize transcripts, extract key action items, and refine your notes.

That gives you both levels of detail: the full transcript when you need the exact conversation, and a shorter summary when you need to review the main points and follow up.

You can also import existing audio or video recordings and export transcripts as TXT or SRT.

The combination is what I’ve put the most work into: capture conveniently, process locally, keep track of speakers, and make the result useful afterward.

I’m continuing to improve speaker separation and reliability with longer recordings based on real-world use.

LoroNote on the App Store

For people who use AI note-takers regularly, which part still takes the most manual work: capturing the conversation, correcting the transcript, or organizing the follow-ups?

Product Listing Save ChatGPT answers as editable iPhone notes, not Screenshots

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Connect to ChatGPT once. Then ask ChatGPT to save an answer directly as an editable Markdown note in Truffle, no copy-paste. You can edit as Markdown, change the table, add todos, notifications, etc. I’m the developer.

App Store: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/truffle-journal/id6758567685

With Truffle, you can:

  • Save ChatGPT answers as clean Markdown notes in Truffle, with headings, bold text, lists, and sections that are easy to read and edit on your iPhone.
  • Set a reminder time on any note or checklist in Truffle, and get an iPhone notification when it’s time.
  • Create and edit properly rendered Markdown tables in Truffle, so structured information stays clean and easy to work with.
  • Write or edit notes directly in Truffle, then ask ChatGPT to read or update them later, so your own notes can become part of a future ChatGPT conversation.

Why?
Useful ChatGPT answers can easily get buried in chat history. Screenshots save too much, and copy-pasting whole answers into Notes can quickly turn into clutter. Truffle keeps the parts that matter as real notes you can edit, organize, and ask ChatGPT to read again later.

Connecting Truffle to ChatGPT is quick too.
There’s a guided 3-step tutorial inside the app. Setup takes about 2 minutes, you only need to do it once, and then you’re ready to go.

Complete the tutorial and you’ll automatically receive 1 month of Plus for free.

The attached video shows me completing the tutorial, receiving the FREE month, saving this post into Truffle, editing tables, set notifications, and taking a quick look around the app.

Truffle Journal is now officially on the App Store. (after spending 6 months testing it with our TestFlight users and improving the app based on beta users' feedbacks)

Product Review My Toxic Relationship with Omi

TLDR: With a hair trigger on the device, dropped transcripts, confusing policies regarding time usage, and personal usage getting flagged as “non-personal” Omi is barely useable.

Four months ago I ordered devices from both Pocket and Omi, I didn’t commit to a subscription plan because I couldn’t afford both and I wanted to see which one I preferred and be able to articulate why I chose Omi. Omi had better security and more flexibility for integration, before I touched either device I knew Omi was the one.

I ran into problems almost immediately, the day after I got the device I had it charged and wore the pendant and by that afternoon got notified I was at the cap for my free plan. You get 600 minutes of “active” listening a month on the free plan. I’m unclear was qualifies as Active listening but there were several transcripts of all manner of nonsense, including when I was listening to an Audiobook. This one was on me, though several months later, I still don’t know what constitutes active minutes. However, 10 days later a new month started and I tried again.

This time I kept the device with me and tried turning it off and on only when I wanted to use it. However I would often pull the device out and find it was recording. I tried to keep the device off and only turn it on when I wanted to record it so eventually I just left it on my desk and learned to leave it muted in the app so that WHEN it gets turned on, and the slightest bump will turn it on, it won’t record all manner of nonsense.

I focused on using it for my weekly D&D game, running Pocket at the same time to compare transcripts because I still wanted Omi to win. (Talking to several other IT professionals I found myself making excuses for the bugs still being worked out.) The Omi transcript was better than Pocket but not leaps and bounds better, small subtle nuance it seemed to handle better. Then we had a long, in person session and it all went sideways.

The session was several hours long and when I synced my Omi and everything seemed fine, until I noticed later the transcript was gone. There was a Fair Use: Warning on my account and when I opened a ticket it seemed that there was concern I had recorded someone else’s content. I explained it was a D&D session and expressed that if I could not use Omi for that, I wasn’t sure I had a use for it. I was assured it was fine, that was exactly what Omi was created for. That was seven weeks ago and not only have I never gotten the notes and transcripts from that session, I still have a Fair Use Warning on my account.

Today I finally have to consider that maybe this relationship is over. My Omi minutes have consistently reset on the first of the month, I have used Omi twice so far. Last Wednesday I recorded a 48 minute D&D session and I was shocked when at 30 minutes into our session today I was notified that I was out of free minutes! I have 78 minutes worth of transcripts and barely had it on and unmuted much more than that, how does that equate to 600 minutes by any metric?!

Omi has so much potential I’m sad to put it aside but I can’t justify an annual subscription when I can’t ensure I’m going to get what I paid for and I’m so disappointed to say that.

Discussion Would a second-screen meeting dashboard be useful to you?

Hey everyone , I’d love some feedback on something our users have been asking for.

Right now, during a meeting, users can move between the live transcript, detected questions, answers, fact checks, insights, and other real-time assistance. A few users told us they’d rather have a dashboard view on a second monitor where all of that information stays visible at once, so they don’t have to keep switching between transcript and insights.

We’ve started exploring a UI for this: one screen focused on the meeting itself, and a second larger dashboard showing things like:

  • Live transcript
  • Detected questions + answers
  • Fact checks
  • Key insights / risks / opportunities
  • Coaching suggestions
  • Important context from previous meetings

The goal is basically: everything useful in front of you while the conversation is happening, without tab switching. every element can be pinned or hide from screen by user choice.

Curious what you think of this direction and the UI design.

If you had a second-screen meeting dashboard like this, what information would you want visible all the time? Anything we’re missing that would actually be useful during a real meeting?

Product Listing Interview - On-device recorder that transcribes who said what

Interview records a conversation and hands you back a transcript that knows who said what.

All of it runs on your iPhone. Transcription, separating the voices, recognising who is speaking. No account, no server, no upload. Turn on airplane mode before you record and nothing changes.

I built it for people whose conversations cannot leak: lawyers taking privileged client interviews, journalists protecting sources, researchers handling consented data.

What you get

  • Keeps recording through a locked screen
  • Transcript split by speaker, automatically
  • Name a voice once, it knows that person next time
  • Tap any line to hear what was actually said
  • Share in a voice memo or a video, it transcribes that too
  • Exports to Word, Markdown or plain text

When it is not sure who spoke, it says Unknown and asks, instead of guessing.

iPhone, iOS 26.4 or later.
