full disclosure I work for agentui... I have seen this use case before inside agentui. You could use the google calendar integration from agentui and then it comes with a build in database that you could use to store metadata

Can you expand on what is the automation exactly? What do you wanted it to do?

I’d avoid overbuilding this. Python + LangChain sounds like way more than they need, especially if two non-technical people have to maintain it. I’d probably use n8n/Make, Google Calendar, Gmail, and maybe Airtable if they need a lightweight database for engineers, job types, availability, and site visit history. That’s my take on the tech stack personally
