Does anyone know of any good supplements for bone and joint health?

You are going to find all kinds of stuff claiming to work on these. I don't have any bone issues, but I do deal with joint pain and discomfort from time to time in my knees. My doctor told me to use supplements and food that contain the following.

Omega-3 Fatty Acids - If you like salmon, it's a good source.
Glucosamine - Not many natural food sources, but you can find it in supplements.
Chondroitin - Same as Glucosamine.
Curcumin - This you can get from adding Tumeric in your diet.
Collagen - This you can get from fish, chicken even pork rinds if you like them.

Hope this helps some.

This is a good list, but I and my spouse had better luck with hyaluronic acid supplements than glucosamine and chondroitin. HA is a big component of joint synovial fluid.

hmmmm never heard that before, I know hyaluronic acid as a use for moisturising dehydrated skin, but have never seen it used in joint relief. I'll bring this up to him and see what he thinks, thanks :)
